GOT IT!!!

16" Max 32c/64GB/4TB ordered Oct 18, Delivered Nov 18. So exactly a month or 31 days. Too many things going today but I've got it up and running and trying to get my apps installed at the moment. Obligatory picture when I get a chance.

Well, spoke to Apple about my months-long delay and apparently some kind of a glitch in the system caused my order placed on Oct 19 to move to the back of the queue as if it was a new order. Apparently, placing it in priority queue should resolve the issue for the most part. We shall see I guess, but I won't know until I get the shipping notice as the on-line tracker is not priority-aware. Apparently, this is not the first time this has happened. Here's hoping it ships sooner rather than later, but it certainly won't make my promised date of Nov 25. Sigh...

Then when that didn't happen, It became a 12-19 window. I contacted Apple who tried to find one already en-route or in store inventory that matched my needs, but nothing. They mentioned something about prioritizing it and that was that. Got a follow-up email later that day saying it would be shipping soon. My original order on apple.com was canceled and replaced with a new order. New order was showing preparing for shipment and then shipped and had a FedEx tracking number. That was last Friday. FedEx got it on Saturday, showed export scheduled on Monday. Cleared for export on Tuesday and FedEx saying it would arrive 10/19, arrived in Japan Tuesday afternoon. Arrived in Memphis Wednesday morning, then arrived in Denver today (Thursday) and delivered.

Sorry for the long-winded thing there, but since you've contacted Apple you're probably good now. But I'm thinking there's a handful of these out there that keep getting lost in the shuffle.

Sounds very similar to my issue. I hope you're right and it arrives sooner rather than later. Enjoy your new machine, I ordered the exact same config!

Question for you, how long after priorization did you get the e-mail about shipping status? Thanks.

I ordered my macbook air with 16GB RAM on 15th nov 2021, it was shipped in 2 days after ordering on 17th Nov 2021(china morning 18th & USA night 17th ),
it is coming from EPZ, China to USA.
Apple says it will be delivered on Nov 29th, yesterday it was showing 23rd deliver date on UPS but today it says delivery date will be provided as soon as possible, so I called UPS today to check for the status and they said its still in clearance in China so they can't say any confirm delivery date yet, hope my package is safe and comes early as I can't wait now, I am being so impatient.

here are all the status until now by UPS:

smaller and thinner than I imagine, I had the recent 2019 Intel 16" last
Blackmagic speed 7100 write 5700 read
(not sure why read would be slower)

HDR works sometimes with Chrome, not with Safari. maybe I was using WiFi

HDR play with Apple TV app works great
Very bright screen. I would not say it's as bright as my Apple Pro Display XDR.
(but I have been running battery

Speakers are clear and loud. no distortion even at max

some assorted pictures.
freaked out with dent in the box

Fits into 2019 16" bag

Batttery was at 91% when opened

About 7000 - 7300 write
About 5500 - 5800 read

The dent on the box I would have totally freaked!! Im the kind of person that even if it has a small tiny speck of dent on the side I wont accept it..Im totally paranoid when it comes to stuff like that..so glad your macbook is ok its beautiful!!

Whooppeeeee! My MBP departed from Anchorage about an hour ago. Many thanks to the people who alerted us to FlightAware.com because as soon as it left Incheon, Korea this morning I went FlightAware and was able to figure out that it was on UPS99, which was confirmed when UPS99 landed in Anchorage and my MBP was scanned as having made it to Anchorage.

Based on what earlier poster said, I suspected it would stay on UPS99 which would get refueled and then depart for Louisville. And that's exactly what happened. It should arrive in Louisville just after midnight tonight. What's the chance it will make it to Barre, VT in time to get delivered tomorrow???

For others interested in using FlightAware.com, here's what I did: As soon as it scanned as departed Incheon, I put in Incheon, Korea as the origin and Anchorage as destination and looked for a UPS flight that departed about the time my MBP did. That turned out to be UPS99. Once it arrived, I repeated the exercise and listed Anchorage as origin and Louisville as destination and lo and behold, there was UPS99 listed as leaving in an hour and a half. This was confirmed when UPS tracking listed my MBP as having departed Anchorage a few minutes after UPS99 departed.

Just got notice that my 16" MBPro M1 Max, 64 GB, 4 TB SSD will be delivered Saturday 20 November 2021. For reference I ordered this on 18 October 14:02 US CDT. It looks as if Apple has recovered some time here (expected was 26 - 30 November, after 2 delays).

I just snagged a base 14” off of Amazon for (theoretical) delivery Nov 24! I can’t say I exactly needed it, coming from a 2019 mbp, but I never liked my current one that much (too hot, too noisy, not enough ports, no MagSafe…), so I splurged a little. Life is short, right?

Mine landed in Kentucky at about 1:21 am last night, left at 3am, made ii to Michigan in time to get ion delivery truck this morning, and I git it a few hours ago,. Do they say delivery tomorrow? Would think their delivery estimates are accurate at this stage. You'll probably get it
