When are you checking them out in store?
Got a December 10 - 23 for ETA for my Custom Config MBP 16 inch, but now when adding to the cart it says November 17 - 24. Will my order dates get updated to that or earlier?

My order went from saying “Arrives Oct. 26” to just “Arrives” with no date listed. Hopefully just a glitch.

It is interesting that even at 5am this morning when I pre-ordered it said (and still does) "Apple Store pick up is currently unavailable."
Im in NSW and was kind of hoping that I may have been able to pick up on launch day. I do wonder if that will change over the next week to allow pick ups in-store. Dates have continued to slip throughout the day.
From memory, there was no issue with pick up of the new iPhone 13 in store when pre-orders went live. However, I could be wrong as I didn't upgrade this year and didn't really keep a lookout online..
I just double checked the Apple store and there are no issues with picking up a MacBook Air tomorrow. Must have something to do with shipping/origin of these MBP's..?
They might be coming directly from China and Apple stores don’t know when bulk shipments are arriving for click and collect.

Has anyone seen a charge hit their credit card for the new MBP? My AirPods charge hit immediately, but 12 hours later, still no MBP charge. Same credit card for both.

Too lazy to make that drive, I'll be content just watching other people hype it up on YouTube. I already know this purchase is more of a want than a need, since my current MBP is perfectly fine. Now it's upto the influencer bros to convince me.
I'm not worried about the stock since I'll probably just buy the base model anyway and those should be easily available for pickup next week, just like the last 16 inch was for me.
There should be the authorization to pull the money from the card, followed by the capture of the funds from the card, followed by the settlement of the customer's after the funds have been pulled.
In this case, the prep for shipping won't happen until the capture of the funds is done, as that is the proof that Apple has successfully received the money. The settlement of the account won't matter to Apple.

Should have no issues getting one on launch day, got my M1 MacBook Pro on launch day without ordering online.
Got a 32/32/1 16” coming on 10/26 and my 13” on FB Marketplace. I think with this computer and my new Subaru I’m done spending for the rest of the year…

Right, but what I meant was, the authorization usually happens immediately, as it did with the AirPods. The initial authorization secures your spot in line, so to speak, and then the charge is finalized right before shipping.
I think you should be fine. As if there was a payment issue you would have gotten an email from apple already. (I think)
Nah lol, lucky I called apple today to confirm that the courier is coming to take my returned item. 🤦♂️ They had me returning it to the apple store lol.
I would’ve had to make 2 trips, drop it off, then go back again and get my replacement. 🤦♂️🙄
All fixed now, hopefully 😩 courier still arriving on time.
