Yeah, I was thrown for a loop when I got that response to my post. What? Return Stock? Getting lightly used one??? Why spread such nonsense here? Why would Apple sell "used returned" ones in educational store? Apple would never sell returned computer as new.
MBP delivered at 12:48 PST - flawless. No doubt in my mind it's 100% Fresh/New. All is well - Hope you open up yours soon and enjoy the new machine. We did a fresh install for the new MBP, so not really migrating much other than iCloud photos and e-mails. Cheers!Yeah I can understand an actual replacement I know that apple tells you that they will send you a "Certified" product but thats after the 14 day period for return/exchange has ended..but actually shipping someone who ordered a brand new item, to get a refurb, absolutely impossible. I know when I would buy apple products from best buy Id always call apple when I received it to make sure it was brand new before I opened it and I will be doing the same here..confirming that the serial # is for a brand new macbook pro
Good luck, too, on applying the Apple Cash back to the card. I'm really interested to hear if you succeed. Might be a new refund thing I do on future purchases. For now, I use the Apple Cash rewards and it's like getting free stuff when you pay with it - since it's money that you had already spent.
