What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

Return stock, looks like you’re getting a lightly used one plus it says the service is next day air.
I'll go over it as best I can to see if that's the case. A friend of mine ordered it via the Apple EPP store. Maybe it's the result of a cancelled order? Yeah, I'm not keeping it if I can see any signs of previous use or refurbishment.

It's possible from that distance, but would have to be a special truck

Based on my unexpected delivery yesterday, my impression is that some of these deliveries may be going through their own special channels. I was surprised when I got an "Out for delivery" notification at noon in San Jose for a laptop that was in Cincinnati at 7am and only reached a local fulfillment center at 10am. Usually that means it's delivered the next day.

It took 5 hours to get from Cincinnati to a fulfillment center in San Jose and it had to be sorted once and transferred once to reach the fulfillment center. That's a crazy speed run with no time for anything to happen in between!

I don't see that happening unless there is a vehicle at airport waiting for a palate of nothing but laptops and ferrying them to a fulfillment center with courier vehicles expressly waiting for that shipment.

What's your FedEx saying?
Mine still says In Transit at ANCHORAGE, AK for Dec 2nd
On the apple side it says shipment delayed :(
It says in transit as well. Pretty sure in transmit to Memphis! FedEx details on the master tracking says expected delivery (to Memphis) today by 1pm.

Apple side also says Shipment Delayed. my ETA was Dec 8th. I'm cautiously hopeful for that still.

Man, my MBP put on some miles the last 24 hours! It arrived in Louisville about 40 minutes ago according to tracking. Here I thought not much more than 24 hours ago that it'd be milling about Shanghai until next week. I figure barring anything stupid, I should receive it Mon, Dec. 6.

What are people's experience of battery life? Specifically for the 14"? Equal to the M1 Air MacBook?

I just saw this MaxTech video discussing how he still hasn't received his Day 1 order of the 24 core GPU unit which he ordered on day 1.

I've ordered a 16" 24-core GPU on Nov 20th and Apple (Canada) is still estimating Dec10-16 delivery.

After watching the MaxTech video I was worried that my delivery will start slipping if someone that ordered on release still hasn't got one.

Have others had issues receiving their 24GPU order on time? Has anyone had one ship recently?

One theory is there is a lack of "defective" 32-core GPU chips which Apple would be using for the binned 24GPU chip. Some speculate Apple may have to just use fully functioning 32-core GPU chips and bin them in software.
I think the lack of supply for 32c version would be more like it honestly. If they can't even cover the demand for the 32c it would make even less sense to bin them

My experience too. Not much happened and then it hit warp drive without warning and ended up at my door before I expected it.

MEMPHIS FEDEX UPDATE
My package has been stuck in Memphis over a week. I finally called today and they assured me it wasn’t lost, but that they needed to open a case and start a trace on the package. They said a specialist will be contacting me.

So, no hope! Hopefully no one else runs into this problem!

I ordered my 16" M1 Max 10c/24c/64gb/2tb MBP on 10/25 and received it yesterday (12/2). My original estimate was Dec 9-16.

What. I ordered 11/02, same config except 1TB. Still order processing.

My 16” 32GB Ram M1 Pro 4TB was ordered on 11/17. ETA was 12/9-12/13. FedEx is saying it will around on 12/8 before 1PM. First time buying anything beyond base MacBook Air or Pro. Super hyped. Hope everyone’s delivery times are as accurate or better.

Thanks! ? I was gonna say, if they're giving me a refurbished/returned one, they certainly didn't charge me any less on price.

I ordered my macbook pro 14 from apple education too, they do NOT send you a refurbished/used one..they have a separate online store for that, if you ordered a new one you get a new one..that is why today when I open up mine I am going to call apple to verify that mine is brand new, by the serial # and that its sealed. I also live in LA mine came from the apple warehouse in San Bernardino came via Deliver-It service
In fact I just went to the apple store refurbished site(Its a whole separate site) and they dont even have the 2021 model available as a refurb)

Thank you! Solid confirmation right there and much appreciated. Feel loads better about everything. Add it's on a truck for delivery today as of 9:30am!

Your's delivers today, too? Congrats and enjoy!
Edit (10:14PST) - I just caught your post about "Quarantine" of the box...ha ha... all good. Well, Happy Unboxing to both of us and every else getting deliveries today! 😃

Yeah that is what I will do cause I want to use the 3 percent on the order itself to take off from the final price :) but will do that once I actually open up the box and make sure the macbook is 100 percent sealed. Deliver-It told me that the package originated from Rialto, CA I think thats some sort of apple warehouse.
You get the 3% automatically on your Apple Cash Card (Apple Wallet App) once the charge on the Apple Card clears. It's basically a debit card - so you won't be able to apply it to your Apple Order.

In fact, if you ever return a purchase on Apple Card and you get a refund for that item, you will see the % Apple Cash re-charged as an adjustment to your Apple Card - as that's the banks only way to recoup the Apple Cash they gave you at initial purchase.

You still get the money back! It's just not they was the money works that you can apply it to your Apple Purchase, retroactively.
