What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

May I ask what country you are in?

The US! Pennsylvania to be exact.

My times match yours so this is very promising. Thank you! Apple is expediting a replacement as they claim it’s lost, the only problem is I am a visiting Brit living in Bangkok and will be back there by the ETA of the replacement. The ETA does not factor in expediting the order and one employee said only the shipping is expedited, whilst another said it’s build & ship.

Such first world problems in the times of today. My mid 2012 is still struggling on anyway.

My goodness, what a pickle. Sorry to hear that. I hope they get it to you in time.

Would someone be able to forward it to you if not? Or would you redirect it via the courier?

Judging from my experience, I don't think so.
My tracking didn't move from 12/31 and then the computer magically showed up yesterday.
In your case, it's only been a day. No need to worry. I know it's hard not to though.

I was just coming here to post the same thing. I wonder if our macs are following the same path?

When tracking first showed up, it originally said delivery would be tomorrow. Then it updated to today once it did the Export Scan, now it's stuck with no delivery date: "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.". I'm a little worried there's been no scan for over 3 days now. Mine is a 16" M1 Max 32GB/2TB.

Awesome. I'm in the US as well. Looks like the good news is spreading in the US and things are finally moving! I just got a notice a few minutes ago that my package is in Los Angeles now. It was stuck in Cincinnati since Jan 5th. Similar to yours. I'm feeling like it could arrive Friday or Monday. Not sure if Monday is a holiday for DHL. But I'm glad it's no longer stuck and not lost.

Nah, it’s okay. This is the proverbial fighting for space in the lifeboat while the ship is sinking. There’s only enough pallet space on a given flight to put everything. Plus as those aircraft aren’t exclusively for Macs, other hardware for other people may be there as well. So if it doesn’t make that flight, it goes back to the district center, gets an incoming scan there, and waits for the next trip to the airport for the next flight. Wash/rinse/repeat for any time it doesn’t make a flight.

Besides, it’s in Shanghai. Let it enjoy authentic Chinese food. It will only scream WTF at you when it gets here and all it sees that we have is Panda Express. :p

BL.

LOL. I can just imagine the party all the macs are having while stuck in the warehouse.....

I had another machine delivered via FedEx in December - and they scanned it each day as it did the dance between the warehouse and "do I get on a plane" - I guess UPS doesn't do that. I'm crossing my fingers we see some movement soon! Today was the first day of the delivery window Apple gave me, so technically it has until the 21st to get here until its actually "late".

I know! Meanwhile, their parents are at home, crying and praying for their safety and waiting up for them to come home. Typical. ?

Hopefully, it'll be there tomorrow!!
DHL doesn't observe MLK Day, so that's good too.

I wonder how long the next steps are going to be.

UPS My Choice just emailed me saying the delivery has been rescheduled to next Wednesday. Tracking info still has "we need to figure out your delivery date" but clearly something in the UPS system triggered the email to realize there was no way it was going to show up this week ?

Thank you.

Out of nowhere, I received a ‘out for delivery’ text and setting it up now.

I have watched and read so much I did not think my expectations could be exceeded, however, the screen and sound quality have to be seen and heard in person to appreciate. Unreal!

Apple gifted me a HomePod Mini as a gogw for all the confusion which was nice. Especially as I didn’t ask.

I ordered on December 21st, and it got shipped since yesterday. However, clicking the tracking number link leads to UPS website saying that the tracking number is invalid.

I got the Jan 25 to Feb 1 delivery time. I guess I just have to wait for UPS to update?
Yup - you'll need to wait a bit. The shipping label gets generated before UPS actually has the package, and UPS won't show any information until they get it in their hands and scan it.
