My package seems to be lost. I called Apple and they said to expect a call from DHL today, but instead I received an order email from Apple stating it will be delivered Feb 8th - 15th. No apology or anything else, just this.
Poor service from all involved, really.
I'm also one of the ones with a delayed DHL delivery. Apple said it was delayed because of weather, which is understandable.

Yep, I was in the same boat. And the individual AWBs often don't have tracking until it is broken up, its useful to get the bulk shipment AWB if you want to see progress instead of waiting for a week with crickets on your DHL tracking

Mine is stuck in DHL hell too.
The Apple customer support people have been mostly dismissive and rude. This is my first MacBook and it bums me out that it's been such a horrible experience. I can understand that things are pretty FUBAR right now, but that's no reason to treat customers poorly.
And to make matters worse, I'm rethinking my configuration. ?
I decided to go with the 512GB and I'm having second thoughts about that. At the time, I figured I could just get an external HD, but the more I think about it, the less attractive the idea seems.
Ideally, I could just order another one and return the one that is allegedly coming, but I would rather stick hot forks in my eyes than voluntarily put myself back through this gauntlet again.
I might exchange it for the $2500 in-store model, if one becomes available around the time this thing finally gets here.
It's more than I wanted to spend and I don't need all that power (just the memory), but I'd rather spend money than shorten my lifespan with more stress, I guess.
Plus, peace of mind is priceless.

but finally coming!card charged today, finally moved to "Preparing to Ship". 16" M1Max 64/4 ordered 11/17. Due 1/13-1/26 so who knows, still getting excited.

ha! its my AIM screen name from the mid 90s. 14"/24core/64gb/1TB/Korean Keyboard. It is an odd spec but I think i specced it correctly. The only real indulgence was the 64gb of ram, in hindsight 32 is more than sufficient.

But yes, mine was due on January 7th!
I ordered on 12/12.
Left Shanghai on 12/31.
I called on the 5th to tell them that I didn't see movement but they insisted that it would be here on the 7th.
Then they called back to say it would be the 11th.
Yesterday, the tracker changed to simply say "soon" so that doesn't seem good lol.
But after more research, I decided to go with the $2499 model after all.
I was able to use the education store, so that helped. And it's in stock at the store the next town over, so they said it should be here by this Friday.
Fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong.
Under normal circumstances, I would have just waited but between the condition of my current pc and the fact that I could not get my mind to quiet down about the 1TB, this was the right decision.
I already feel better.
ETA: Just got a text from Apple that the original order is out for delivery LOL. I checked the tracking and it updated with all this info in like the last hour, which is crazy. Hopefully, the new order does come on Friday so I can return this one on Saturday.

My times match yours so this is very promising. Thank you! Apple is expediting a replacement as they claim it’s lost, the only problem is I am a visiting Brit living in Bangkok and will be back there by the ETA of the replacement. The ETA does not factor in expediting the order and one employee said only the shipping is expedited, whilst another said it’s build & ship.
Such first world problems in the times of today. My mid 2012 is still struggling on anyway.
