Yea, stocks are still dwindling, I think they are catching up, but mine showed up 1 day after my earliest initial estimate... some are getting them sooner, some later, I would say, hope for a week early, but prepare for the last day of your ETA.
 
Right, LunchB0x8, from previous new systems the estimates always seem to be just that, estimates. In general, historically anyway, they were 'pessimistic' estimates and things 'usually' came in the early part of the window or sometimes earlier. Things at this timeframe, though, make that uncertain. The good news is that although I'll be traveling, the end of that time window my delivery will be going to a UPS post box, so I can just get them to send it along to wherever I am at that point. Early would be good, but not counting on it. Still 'processing' for a March 9-22 delivery status...

Ordered mine on Jan 5th. The dates never changed for me, current estimate is Feb 28 - Mar 11

Hi guys,

The 16" M1 Max 64GB/4TB/32C configuration is available for in-store pickup at many locations now. I can't justify spending $4500 on a laptop right now or I'd bite the bullet. ?

Kinda same boat as you, I ordered on 29th January 14" M1 Max 24GPU/32GB/1TB ... in that precise moment I started to see that 14" M1 Max 32GPU/64GB/2TB is available for in-store pickup in almost all Apple Store shops at Spain, it's been that way for the last 3 weeks (I'm checking my order status so I frequently check the physical stock) ... I wish I needed that config, it will save me a whole month of waiting, but it would be overkill, not to mention the extra 1200$ added to the price.

But you're right, anxiety makes myself to want to bite the bullet, i'm getting away from the trigger as far as possible, but it's tempting ?
 
Argh just got a message from apple that payment didn’t go through Fri afternoon Shanghai time… have updated the payment card, but now it’s Saturday Shanghai time. How much is that going to slow down my shipping? I assume it was ready to go yesterday afternoon..
 
Ordered 14" base model with 1TB on 9/2, delivery said 23/2 - 2/3
Payment done yesterday (18/2), fingers crossed it will be delivered by the earliest time.

Mine didn't go through on a Friday night also. Sorted on the Monday and still arrived on the first day of the expected arrival window. They usually only put a hold on your card for a few days so if anything like this pops up you have time to sort it.

Thanks! Still no update 4 days later so I think some delay must have occurred. Ah well my bad ?

This turned up a couple of days ago. Heart goes out to those who ordered through a reseller, so absurd having to wait 2-3 months when there was no indication of it when you ordered. As for the machine, absolutely love it. The trackpad is miles too large at the moment but maybe that will change over time. Battery life as a 16" non-max is as good as it gets, now it's finished indexing etc I'm getting a good 10 hours doing quite intense activities. Really the perfect machine

got notifications yesterday saying it's on its way from Shanghai and will be delivered on this Friday, which I'm not too optimistic on the time due to the customs at China - Hong Kong borders.

I am same with 4tb and until yesterday had same delivery window.

Today I see it’s been updated to Apr 19-May 2nd.
 
Mine just got delivered ?????? I can’t wait to get home! Signature was not required (FedEx)

It moved to preparing to ship on Saturday (02/19) and it was shipped early Sunday


FedEx scheduled delivery for February 25, 2022 but luckily delivered today (02/23)

Work ordered me the 16" 10/24 Max with 32GB RAM and 512GB storage with our reseller (CDW, I think?) on 2/1. No estimate from them on delivery, just "backordered." I anticipated at least 6 weeks. I'm hoping it won't be much more than 8.
 
Whatever you do don't put an instock different color machine in your shopping cart and leave it there. As soon as I did that my online order's delivery date dramatically changed for the worst. It's almost as if they were wanting me to buy the Silver instead of wait for the Space Gray.
