Friday might be pushing it if it's coming from China. My money is on either today or tomorrow? Currently, It is 7:01 AM in Mainland, China right now. UPS workers will be coming into work and clocking in. Hopefully we see some activity with our scans. Staying hopeful and positive.

These are the same cloths that came with the Pro Display XDR. We’ve had them for over a year now. It’s just a cloth, nothing special about it. Mine’s been in a drawer somewhere, used it maybe once

Yeah interesting..Nope which is really strange considering the official release date is the 26th. I ordered mine just after 4am and it was the 28thI really hope it does come on Tuesday.
I did a BTO and got 3-8/11 ETA.
Hoping it’ll arrive a little sooner, but will wait and see.
The interesting thing is, even pre-ordering there was/is no option for in-store pick up (NSW) and from memory there was this option with the iPhone 13 release a month of so ago, so not sure why its not an option with the MBP..

I also ordered a base 14” in Australia and had a 28/10 delivery date but that has since changed to just say “Arriving”.
Hoping when a date pops back up its 26/10 but may be wishful thinking

Just ordered a 14", claims to ship release day at Best Buy still.
We'll see since Best Buy was VERY liberal with the ship date of my 13 Pro.
BB's 0% for 36 months is fantastic, much better than the 0% for 12 months Apple offered for Apple Card. Losing the education discount is a shame but the return policy until January will save my bacon should anything arrive defective.
Time to look for a 100W charger on Amazon.
We'll see since Best Buy was VERY liberal with the ship date of my 13 Pro.

I would buy from best buy but I need to trade in my 2018 model so will be doing that at the apple store(Best buy offers only about 300 bucks for it)
With apple I wonder if they are doing the same as last year:
Apple Launches Extended Holiday Return Policy, Returns Accepted Until January 8 in U.S. ... Items purchased from the Apple Online Store that are received between November 10 and December 25, 2020 can be returned to Apple until January 8, 2021, offering holiday shoppers more than two weeks to make returns.
If they are doing the same thing around November 10th I will order the laptop that way I know at least I have til Jan 8th in case something is wrong to return it

Great! Will do that then..since I have a 2018 model I have to get rid of that before I can buy a new one..so apple giving 540 right now is the best incentive to buy from them. Best buy gives basically nothing for it, only about 300 bucks..and best buy doesnt match the apple EDU price of 1849 so I guess apple store it is

I have an iMac I was going to trade in, but I think I might just trade it in and hold on to the gift card until iPhone 14 and go through Best Buy to make use of the 36 months.
Yeah the only reason why I prefer trading it into apple store is because lets say I dont format it good(Even though I will Ive seen all the youtube videos, but the whole NVRAM thing most dont think its necessary some think its necessary) at least with apple I Know they will obviously take care of it, make sure its fully formatted again before reselling..if I sell it to someone online(Through amazon or swappa) I will worry about someone getting my info so that will be in the back of my mind just to make an extra 200 bucks on a sell, not sure if its worth it..dont know why Im making such a big deal about formatting it, I will do it tomorrow just want to be sure I do it right..wish apple offered more for it but it is a 3 yr old laptop after all
This happened to me in the USA the other day but then it fixed itself yesterday.
Seems to happen with all orders. Date will return in 12-24 hours.
I’m in the U.S., but had this same problem. Eventually it switched back to the date I originally had (October 26th).

No. Ordered a stock model within first three minutes or so.
I did get a shipping notice for the new AirPods, which are also coming from China.
Completely agree, Apple still buys even if you don't purchase anything from them at the time.
Yeah that's what Im going to do, trade it in beforehand, but hold onto the gift card til November 10th that way I will get the extended holiday return..besides, for the 14 inch base model the delivery date is not til November 10th-11th anyway so no harm in waiting a few weeks to do it..as far as formatting my macbook pro that I have now(My 2018 model) just gotta make sure I log out of everything..go into recovery mode, erase macintosh HD, then delete macintosh HD-Data..go back and reinstall mac OS and Im good to go turn it off and bring it into the store for trade in
