Good evening all,

It is 11:58 AM. Another day has gone by and another night is here. Today, was a long day. It was definitely a long day for me. I'm surprised to report no one has received a "UPS Origin Scan" Tag so far. But it's ok... Tomorrow is another day.

Tomorrow, maybe someone will report it in here. I don't think every single one of us is receiving our Macbook from the U.S. stateside. There might be a few but it won't be for all of us. Maybe we will wake up to a surprise tomorrow morning with a UPS scan? Who knows... Rest assured, tomorrow is going to be an important day. I have a feeling we may be up for a surprise. Hang tight, folks! The weekend is almost here. Stay strong, stay safe and stay blessed.

Good question. I put 'USA and Other Countries" because I don't think there is a thread for the people in Germany, UAE - Dubai, Australia and so on...

The other countries does not include UK because they have their own thread.

Does that make sense? or should I change it to "USA only"?

Please don't change it back to USA only. Keeping the subject mostly in one thread makes life easier. And the real action in here.

I'll wait for bigger iMacs. Just bought an M1 macbook and I really want to replace my 27" iMac from 2017. It doesn't upgrade properly anymore. But I'm afraid the bigger screen iMacs will be reserved for the pro models.

I purhased the M1 macbook this spring and love it. I'm a light user and use it more like an additional gadget around the house or on vacations.
I'm really an iMac girl when it comes to setting up my work space. My iMac is from 2017. It works fine but doesn't update anymore. I read on the internet that this is a problem of many iMacs from 2017. It only bothers me a tiny bit because it still works. But I can't wait to replace it when some bigger screen iMac will be released.
We even have a 2009 iMac in the house and it still works great. My son uses it for school.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about changing it... I think I've seen just as many UK folks post in here as the UK thread... just let it happen organically!

I cancelled my base model and changed my config to a 10 core M1 Pro with the 14 core CPU, 32GB of RAM, and the US English keyboard. Here in Europe with the exchange rate it comes out to over US$3,100 and my delivery date is now between November 29th and December 6th (my previous delivery date was around October 29th). My M1 goes up for sale soon!

Good point but I don't want to throw shades at UK thread, LOL! I think the title makes sense? It's for people in the USA and anyone outside of the USA (Other countries). I didn't wanted to put "Excluding UK". That sounds controversial, LOL

Don’t worry our government has recent history of excluding us from others so we’re used to it

So I am happy that also non-US MacBook Pro buyers are welcome (and everyone who ordered a brand new apple cleaning cloth probably as well I guess)
I like the new thread title and think it’s now less confusing… and I feel welcome as a German here…

The real question: When do the first scans arrive?

I believe this happens a few hours after your card gets charged (and order goes preparing for shipment).

My card was charged on Tuesday right after the order. And my delivery date is at November 4th.
