This is referred to MacBook7,1 owners.

I have done this test:
- booted Mojave beta 2 with HS 10.13.6 Nvidia Tesla kexts with QE/CI
- then landed to Login Screen (where staying no KP occurs)
- waited about 5 minutes just to leave all processes and services to fully load
- after logged in, saw desktop in 3 seconds got KP.

Then I checked the Mojave /var/log/system.log
considering the time frame from beginning I have started Mojave disk around 11:53 and encountered KP at 12:00 (that matches also the last modified date time I see on system.log file)

here are the last Console lines I'd consider more relevant (just a moment before KP produces annoying quick Reboot):

With the useful MacOS Utilities Console app through system.log anyone can monitor his system state just after the 2nd stage apple logo to the GUI and forward.

I tried using the Mojave Patcher on my MacBook 7,1 but opon rebooting to the patched OS I get the prohibitory sign. @dosdude1
Once you had installed Mojave did you then boot back to your USB installer and click on Post Install Patches then select your mac model and check the patches you wish to apply, click on Patch and then click on Reboot. Then your mac should boot into the OS.

It didn’t. I got the prohibitory sign. But it didn’t actually reboot by itself. It hung so I manually shut down and started it up.

Did you apply the post install patches?
What version of the Patcher app were you using, should be 1b4 and what version of Mojave Beta are you trying to install.
Should be PB2 Version 14.0.12

It is those latest releases. I applied them. Clicked the reboot button. It showed the spinning wheel but didn’t reboot so I shut it down and then started it up manually. I got the prohibitory sign after that.

Was this install on a clean fresh disk or partition or were you trying to install it over an older OS?
How long did you give it before you decided to shut it down, sometimes you should just leave it.

I did this twice and it has not changed I'm using the last version 1b4. I formatted twice ....... version 1b2 worked

Are both of your GPUS working? You have an AMD which does not work under DB 3 and PB 2 and an Intel which does work with full acceleration.

Hello all,
@ASentientBot
@Badruzeus
@Larsvonhier
@jackluke

Could someone please tell me what are all the patches that I have to apply in post install especially for macbook7,1 (mid 2010 Nvidea 320M). In deed, when I select my model, I see recommended (or advised) patches. Some patches are selected and others not.

Thank you

the intel GPU had acceleration with patch 1b2 now there is no more. AMD has never had acceleration

intel worked so I'm asking if anything has changed in the patch? version 1b4 no graphics acceleration
