THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! @mattpilott - this might work for you too...This fixed it for me. I was in reduced security mode.
Apple Silicon Secure Enclave Disagreement
Sometimes, the local Secure Enclave (which holds your Mac's security keys) gets out of sync with what the beta installer expects. You can force the system to re-verify ownership and security policies:
1 Boot your Mac into Recovery Mode (shut down, then press and hold the Power button).
2 Go to Utilities in the top menu bar and open Startup Security Utility.
3 Ensure your drive is set to Full Security. If it is already on Full Security, toggling it to Reduced Security, rebooting, and then toggling it back to Full Security can force the Secure Enclave to refresh its cryptographic state.
Yes that was it for me too, nice one!THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! @mattpilott - this might work for you too...
same issue here as well, no idea what app is causing it, quit everything in activity monitor and its still thereLooks like I got a Dynamic Island in addition to the notch in the menu bar:

Thought it was a problem with iStat Menus at first, but quitting it doesn't fix that. Restarting also didn't help.
Oh well, at least I don't need a MacBook Ultra for the Dynamic Island then!
I severely hope Apple does something about the excessive use of horrible shades of gray both in light and dark mode. Sidebars and toolbars in their current state feel like a regression, which is crazy.View attachment 2636423
Dark mode liquid glass menus and toolbar icons are truly awful, regardless of what slider setting you have. Grey washed out backgrounds and jello like blobs.
I was hoping for something darker and a bit sharper like the Cursor logo.I severely hope Apple does something about the excessive use of horrible shades of gray both in light and dark mode. Sidebars and toolbars in their current state feel like a regression, which is crazy.
Yes exactlySo, if I understand you correctly, the only way to turn off AI now is to turn off Siri?
It's the same character viewer you get when you use the keyboard globe icon. You can click the icon in the top right to return to the old layout.
I had similar issues prev. It turned out to be the realtime virus scanning on my Intego app. Also seeing the same. Was unable to download using `softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer` (it gave some kind of gatekeeper error), and was unable to install using the InstallAssistant.pkg package downloaded directly from Apple (Got some kind of "Failed to personalize software update" error).
I'm guessing they're all stemming from the same issue...but I just don't know what that issue is.
HOPEFULLY this will be addressed in subsequent betas.https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/contacts-app-is-a-nightmare-on-tahoe.2465399/
any progress on fixing the macOS Contacts app?
See https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/macos-golden-gate-27-0-beta-1-whats-new.2483502/post-34622146Not sure how many of you guys use Ultra-wide monitors, but one new feature is
Ultrawide display support.
Now you can get higher resolutions on ultrawide displays, such as 5K at 120Hz. And your display arrangements stay exactly as you left them, for a seamless experience every time you plug in.
To compare, I have a 57” Samsung Dual-4K. My previous M3 Max handled Dual 4K at 120hz and my M4 Pro also handled at Dual 4K/120hz.
I’m curious how this would change anything
