No complaints from me. It feels great. Is it worth it to install? I have an M5 MBP.
My iPhone and AW are on developer beta.
why the 3rd party apps come after the system ones...I hope they revert this / is a bug.
or *gasp* turn off 'virtual machine accessories' in the menu bar settings 🤔8. Another ugly things is the tablet makes a new menu item appear called Virtual Machine Accessories. It looks like some **** idea that would be on Linux. Even Windows wouldn’t have this crap.
Aside from the issues in 7 and 8 this is mostly better than Tahoe by a light year but still lots of UI issues carried over.
No need for the sarcasm.or *gasp* turn off 'virtual machine accessories' in the menu bar settings 🤔
If anyone comes across a Menubar management app that gets fixed for Golden Gate - I'm in! For me, it's Thaw. They're going to work on fixing it, but it'll take timeBartender doesnt seem to work
Surfshark VPN works fineYeah, I’m currently trying to erradicate Little Snitch and ProtonVPN. They don’t like it.
Edit: If you uninstall the apps, they leave some extensions behind. If you go to Settings -> General -> Login items & Extensions -> Extensions, you don't have the option to remove the leftover extensions.
UNLESS: You click on the "By Category" sorting option. Then, if you go to the "Network Extensions" section, there is a small three dots icon that allows you to remove the extension.
Where did this come from?!Finder, Files & Window Management

I usually wipe clean, and simply reinstall the apps I need. Yesterday, I just installed over my year-of-use Mac which created some headaches. So last night I wiped and started over - and it's amazingIs it worth it to install? I have an M5 MBP.

How is the Music app's UI? Did they fix the control bar location or the insane waste of space in playlist windows? Is the volume matching function still not functioning? Thanks!AirPlay from the Music app on my MacBook Pro M5 is being wonky. The song will be playing to either a Sonos or Bose AirPlay speaker and even though the song is still playing and the time is moving on the Music app, the sound cuts out from the speakers. If I move the slider in the song time back or forward, sound resumes but will cut out again shortly after. I feel like this happened last year too but I can't recall when or if it was during the beta testing. It was fine previously on 26.5.1 and previous to that during MacOS 26.
Edit to add: No issues AirPlaying from the Music app on my iPhone also running the iOS 27 beta to the same speakers.
Alas no, control bar still obscures. Sense hasn’t prevailed unfortunately. How is the Music app's UI? Did they fix the control bar location or the insane waste of space in playlist windows? Is the volume matching function still not functioning? Thanks!
Yes, Local works without any issues.Long shot but does anyone know if LocalWP works..?
It's the same character viewer you get when you use the keyboard globe icon. You can click the icon in the top right to return to the old layout.

I agree, the design is questionable since day 1. However, with the new transparency slider set to 75% the control bar is now better visible. Still I think the bar should be up on top and way bigger, as it was before. Hey Apple, could you add a possibility, just like in iOS Safari, to place the control bar in Music on top? Thanks in advance. 😍Alas no, control bar still obscures. Sense hasn’t prevailed unfortunately.
FYI, for anyone that may be interested, LocalWP does work, to some degree....Yes, Local works without any issues.
