well, I only got my nike+ today, your gonna have to watch that top spot ;) :p

I don't expect to keep it. I know t1937r0 and markgjones among others are much more serious runners than I am. I like the look of the graph as it stands now, though. :D

Acutally, in my case, much more consistant than serious. It's not like I can
go out and pop off a 5 or 6 mile run. But I can do 2.5 miles a day 6 or 7
days a week.

Just posted my first run! 3.73 miles.... not quite bottom of those that posted! Maybe I should have put the nike+ kit in my soccer boots this weekend!

Just wondering what sort of pace people are doing, mine for that run was 8'33" which I am looking to improve.

Mine varies between about 8:00 and 8:30, depending on how I'm feeling, the distance, and the course. For the 47 miles on my Nike+ account for the past 8 weeks I've average 8:17 miles.

Not too great, but I haven't really focused on improving my speed.

Wow. You guys run much faster than I do. My pace during the last
three runs has hovered right around 10 minutes per mile.

Doesn't seem to be hurting your distance, however, which is what's tracked here. I wouldn't worry too much about your pace - run what's comfortable and don't get hurt. As you rack up mileage, you might start seeing an increase in pace as you become more acclimated to the process.

As for me, it seems that no matter what distance I run, I'm always in that same range of times. I pretty much just have one speed, which always makes me laugh when I'm reading a running article and they say something like "run 1 mile at 90% of race pace." Race pace and practice pace for me are the same.

Yeah I need to focus on distance next, especially for this challenge.

Using one of the Nike+ albums from iTunes I have been doing the "Improve you Endunance" and it's been working really well for me! So that focuses on changing pace, which I didn't think I could do until this. Next is to now try and even paced run and see if it truely has improved my endurance!

For my 3 miles or so runs its about 6'30" a mile, and when I drop to a steady pace for longer stuff more like 7'00", maybe 7'15".

Yeah, I should probably have mentioned you among the serious runners, but you're so serious that many of your runs are competitions that can't be recorded for the challenge and you're also more into speed than distance, if I got you right.
