People keep making this Zune comparison without acknowledging that the Zune simply looked like Apple products that came before it. How can Apple be derivative of products that were derivative of its own???

BS. Show me the brown iPod! :p
The orignal zune looked more like a bar of motel soap than an iPod.

you just proved my point

You're joking, right?
"Hey, Mr. Jobs, I found this iPhone in a bar, is it yours?"
"Oh, why yes, thank you very much."
"Is it the fourth-generation iPhone?"
"Indeed it is. It's got a double-resolution screen, removable battery, and a front-facing camera. Oh, and don't tell anybody about it, mkay?"[/QUOTE]

I know bro....that's exactly what I'm trying to say.....no one is going to Apple because Apple started all this...this is their plan to hype people up!

...I mean....if this is REAL PROOF of an iPhone and if they deny it......then come June if this really was the real iPhone you would go back and ask them....."why did you lie to us saying this was not the iPhone when indeed it was?" Apple would be labeled as a company that lies......trust me.....all of Apple's competition would love to ride on that!

This post just shows how vain many Apple fans are.

Who cares how it looks? Seriously. Phones are tools, not fashion statements.

Simplicity and function. This has both.

Stolen?

No one is familiar with this "original Zune" of which you speak. :p

Stolen?

Stolen is usually the word we English speakers use for "something taken by someone it didn't belong to and sold to someone else."

I just got a new 3GS last week after using TMobile for a few months. Hated it. I'll put up with AT&Ts prices for the ease of use of the iPhone. Hopefully, when VZ gets it, the price wars will start.

This new iPhone, if it is the new iphone, looks like it a bit bulkier. I don't know how case manufacturers are going to create cases that don't make the thing too darn thick around the middle.

Apple lies quite frequently

Um, yea I'll bet when you spend hundreds of dollars on a phone you don't care what it looks like, right? If phones were just tools, we wouldn't be talking about one that has TWO cameras, touch screen, etc. I dare say an iPhone is at least 50% fashion statement and 50% 'tool'.

It just looks uncomfortable to hold. And how do you tell the difference between the front and the back just by holding it? The body is symmetrical in every dimension.

The front has the button you had to push to turn it on.If it's not on yet,you can still feel the home button.

I really didn't believe that this was the new iPhone...but it seems rumors keep perpetuating. I will get it regardless, but I actually like the overall look of the current 3GS. I'm not a big fan of the seams and button designs...but hey...I'm sure it'll be alright.

i'll be posting a list of those who gave a definitive "this is not the next iPhone" and acted like a total douche to anyone who thought it might be. :apple::apple::apple:

Excellent.Be sure to include the
"I'm just providing information"one!

I find it hard to believe that all of Apple's hardware design questions have been answered with still two to three months before these things hit the street.

This is a prototype.

Prototype or not.The design is now frozen, and has been for some time. You can't finalize a design build the tooling, have pilot production runs, and then spit out millions of phones in 9 weeks(to the end of June)

(...)

Have any developers seen hints at being able to use the hardware buttons as buttons for your app? I mean think of the possibilities... the iPhone, & iPod Touch game market might get even more competitive with the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS if the use of hardware buttons are available.

(...)

Finally... Gizmodo is supposedly coming out with another article right? The insides will be pardon the pun the "proof in the pudding". A4 processor?

(...)

+1

Totally forgot about this.

Hard buttons will increase a lot of gaming user experience(first person shooter in first place). I always thought of it!

Hard button for camera. Same thing.

What about the A4? That is totally the proof.

Anyway, after have seen the video I call it legit, even if I may be wrong.
How can you say is totally un-Apple?? They increased the glossy surfaces of the 100% (Back cover) :D

Plastic = MacBook
Aluminium = MacBook Pro

Not sure it's real

It just seems odd to me that Apple would allow for such a HUGE leak ahead of time. I think this is a planted teaser... one to get the "buzz" machine going. :)

Something just seems wrong about this phone... nice features... don't know about the design until I can hold it.

i bet apple will want it back they will take action soon or they saw it as a good advertisement opportunity we will never know but i dont think that they purposely put it out there thats not cool, lets all email him simultaneously at midnight and see if we all get a good reply. the email will say this:

dear, mr jobs
is this ur missing iphone, ( link to the the site). one question, did u guys leak this iphone purposely because thats unethical. if it is just lost we love it so keep up the good work, we all want to know more so it might take a couple of days to get back to u unless u just tell us all the tech specs and host various q and a sessions.

with our warm regards,
all us :apple: fanatics

I've owned iPhones from the beginning. But not because of what the outside casing looks like. I own one because I like the way it works.

It's one thing for people to want their phone to look nice, it's another thing when people say "OMG, I'm not buying this new iPhone because it's so ugly."

Hmm.. I don't know. After being deprived of these features in the past, I don't know if I can't accept this fully. If all these features are available by the time it comes out in June, then where do we go from there? MHO, if it doesn't come with a Duct Tape holder --- it's a deal breaker for me. :p
