Guild Name

A suggestion for the Guild Name: "Rumors"

I think it sums up where we're from and isn't completely random. Just an idea, I'm sure we can come up with a better name if it's not a fit.

The server appears to be a west coast server...I'm posting this reply at 4:23 (Central Time) and it says on World of Warcraft that the server time is 2:23...

No worries. I'm a pretty casual player and have a wife, kids, friends and a job that take precedence over WoW. No hardcore raiding aspirations here.

And "Rumors" sounds good to me, though as a Canadian, I would write it "Rumours" ;)
 
Changing Realm!

Ignore the realm Shattered Halls.....

WE WILL BE GOING WITH THE REALM CHROMAGGUS

Chromaggus is again a pvp realm that is on the US server. Time zone is central, i figured this would be more convenient to have a dead center time zone rather than a west coast one...

Create a Horde Character and post your name, race and class so we can add

Hoping to work on guild sometime tonight!

Hoping this switch won't affect anyone :)

All the cool players are on the overcrowded Dalaran Server and play Alliance. BEs have added some beauty to the horde but it's hard to overcome all of the butt ugly characters. :p
 
Even though I am not participating, I wanted to suggest that you (iHarrison) edit the first post in the thread to contain the most up-to-date information on where you are playing. That way new recruits don't have to search through the entire thread to find the correct information.

Awesome! I'm also a level 80 mage...and YES! we are definately looking into doing this. The realm we are on is chromaggus.

i'll set up a death knight. i do play slow as work keeps me busy. just don't kick me from the guild please. lol:D
 
I'm created and ready to start leveling...plan on getting my death knight at least to 59 tonight...anyone else going to be starting sometime today/tonight by chance? If so...send me an in game whisper if you see me on!

Unless you are all rolling Death Knights, I don't see how you guys can play together in the near future...
Oh, and I would hardly say its a "fresh start" to begin at 55 :)

Well it'll help to have a higher level character on a pvp realm so that when other members are getting ganked we have someone to come and teach the horde a lesson. I don't mind starting from level 1 with the rest of the group either. I probably have the most free time (being a high school student) so I don't mind leveling two characters at once.

As soon as others show interest in this idea, I will create a level 1 with them for sure!

I'm with you. My work is project based so if I get busy I can go a month without touching WoW, easily. The economy bites at the moment, so getting busy any time soon may just be a pipe-dream, but it happens.

But I get the feeling that a lot of gamers that frequent Macrumors are in the same boat, so people shouldn't feel that this guild requires any massive time commitment. Roll a toon, join the guild and see if you have time to play. If you do, great, if you don't, no worries.

So here is my situation. I have been playing WoW since 2006 (when I had free time in grad school) and have had one main (Warlock 72)). I recently respecced, due to Lich King and now am a Master Demonologist. I was a Hybrid, am am still figuring out how to play with Demonology.

I really do not have any experience with any of the other classes, and like Warlocks a lot.

What would you all do?; roll a new character and class, or just transfer realms for the new guild? :confused:

All my toons are on Azjol-Nerub and if this ever pans out I might be willing to move one or all to another server.

Exactly the point of our guild :D

Don't try and spend too much time playing...if you do, then this will happen to you: :)......:(.......:eek:......:confused:.....:mad:

Keep it casual and fun! ;)

P.S. it' be nice to get some gamers that can get on more than just every month or two though ;):D

We're all on the server Chromaggus but are playing Horde Macnerd77

Try rerolling a blood elf mage! Luckily your only level 4 so that'll take you about 30 min to get back too...maybe less :D

Many people think blood elfs look cooler than night elf's anyway so you shouldn't see too much of a difference...

And unfortunately...yes....you would become the enemy of all of us at some point if you stayed alliance :p

With the way things are now...and how tight money can be....I would consider re-rolling if you do not wanna pay the $20 or $25 it is to transfer a character.

BUT....I would love it if you transfered your warlock and gave us a 70+ in the guild! Having high level characters is essential for a guild on a pvp server. That way, we can look out and help one another if alliance decide to gank us or fight us.

Bottom Line do what you are comfortable with and have the resources for. $25 can be alot of money to get a character from one realm to another, and i don't want you to feel like you have too...

It's unfortunate that all of us have mains and stuff on other servers and makes this a bit inconvenient....:(
