Indeed, as pivo6 says we can shuffle our teams ahead of the first fixture in the second round, Greece vs The Czech Republic at 5pm (GMT).
I'll post a full update on our first round fortunes in the evening, once all the scores have been updated and confirmed.

The ESPN match report has it down as a Mandzukic goal, so it looks like they're seeing it as that and aren't going to chalk it up as an own goal. Which, let's be honest, it blatantly was.
I for one hope the spirit of football prevails and Mandzukic keeps his well earned goal.

Well, tonight the second round is already under way and that can only mean one thing – namely that the first round is over. Which of course means that we can take a look at the table as it stands...
As we can see, top spot is shared between the Ukrainian All Blacks and Sporting Takao who enjoy a slender lead ahead of the chasing pack. Obviously these were the two top scoring teams in the first round which means that our first Team of the Round Award is shared by their gaffers oscillatewildly and takao

Yesterday saw the completion of our second round matches, and if we peer through the torrential rain and past a pouting, armband-toting Swede we can see the table looks like this...
After this latest batch of fixtures, we can see that it's Moyank24 who has taken top spot with her Pinstripe City, off the back of an unmatched 73 points in this round.
The Pinstripes certainly mean business and I'm sure Moyank24's players have managed to bowler over with their performances in their ties this round, having claimed for her the prestigious Team of the Round Award.

And as for the round, I gave my boys some extra motivation and I'm glad to see it worked! Hopefully it continues.
Unlikely I've not seen any games advertised for Olympic Football, and post-Euros I'll be prepping up for the 2012-13 Fantasy Football season.

The third round of matches is over, and half of the teams in Poland and Ukraine have packed their bags, stocked up on duty free and headed home. Not for us though, as all twelve of us have the opportunity to humiliate ourselves right until the end of the tournament.
