where was the iphone nano?![]()
No one. It's just a gimmick, a way for Apple to now start an (expensive) $99+ battery replacement program. I don't know of anyone who uses a notebook for 8+ hours without plugging it into an AC adapter.ok who the hell would need 8hrs in a 17inch notebook?
Well in reality it is probably 4 hours under normal use.
and 1000x charges is 2.7 years... Of charging once a day... Perhaps less if you need to charge twice a day.
I want my MacBook Pro to run for 4-5 years. I guess I will go with Lenovo. A laptop even with OS X isn't useful if the battery will not work in 3 years. And I need to pay an arm and a leg to get it replaced.

WTH Apple? All you release are Macbook updates these days. I know it's your bread and butter but I had cash in hand to buy a new iMac or Mini. Won't be doing that now. I don't want you 2 year old spare parts for full price!
I don't know why I even get excited about these things, seams like I'm the total opposite of their target market.
