Star Trek Infinite is coming to Mac on Oct 12 and can be pre-ordered now. Not sure if it supports Apple Silicon natively because the Steam depot only says macos64, not macosapplesilicon.

Isn't this basically Stellaris but with a Star Trek skin/overlay?

The Medium Mac review is out and it has very bad perfromance in dual screen mode. The fps drops by around 60%. Perhaps not surprising because the game has terrible performance even on monster PC with 3090. Watch Digital Foundry's review. It gets 40-50 fps in dual screen mode at 1080p.

I see we’re at the point in the cycle where software devs make programs slower now that hardware is fast enough.
It seems like Bloober was going for something fairly unique and instead of making a custom engine to power it (where they could squeeze out more performance optimizations) they went with UE4 which is a known performance hog for even the single viewport.

Whilst you can get some pretty crazy looking games out of UE the performance hit for doing so does seem outsized. Sadly there doesn't seem to be anything that looks as pretty not built on a custom engine. Heck even the Unity Enemies demo doesn't look as impressive as some things from Unreal Engine.

Steam suggests that Len's Island is like Valheim and it does indeed remind me of Valheim but this one has a Mac port. It's an early access game with very positive reviews.

With IPhone 15 Pro we got very promising news for M3 Macs. The GPU in A17 Pro has a new feature for Mesh Shading. It also combines the power of the GPU and Neural engines for MetalFX. We have now HW RT too.

Some highlighted games were Ubisoft's The Division Resurgence and Assassin's Creed Mirage, HoYoverse's Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact and Capcom's Resident Evil 4 and Village.

I wonder if The Division Resurgence, Assassin's Creed Mirage and Resident Evil 4 will come to Mac and be showcased with M3 Macs next year. It wouldn't take much effort once the games are on iPhone.

It's probably easier to port them to the Mac. On-screen buttons are difficult to implement.

Amazing ! I wonder if the ray tracing performance will be enough to be playable though. Sometimes a first generation introduce a feature but it's the later iterations that make it usable.

Holy cow! It took one day for them to announce it. Amazing! Who’s "the running gag in the industry" now? Who’s the ”one and done” now? Capcom was so ”unhappy” with how Apple handled the keyboard/mouse problem in RE Village that they made another Resident Evil game for Mac. 😂

It's coming already this winter, perhaps in November like Village. So, what's coming next? Street Fighter? I hope we'll get the whole RE series some day. :)

To be fair I believe @GrumpyCoder did say Capcom had more games ported but wasn't sure why they were not releasing them.

Oh cool crossbuy! That's great!

(Would be even greater if the Mac ports were available on Steam since the App Store sucks so much but I digress)

And yet they and others said all the other stuff and stories of doom and gloom about Apple/Capcom relationship proven to be wrong. Personally I believed Capcom didn't want to release another big title so soon and cannibalize on Village, but it doesn't matter. We got what we wanted and more is coming.:)

That is fair.

Self servingly, I would have liked for them to get UbiSoft to bring AC to macOS and not just iOS, but I guess we can wait to see if that is still in the works.

With RE Village and soon Resident Evil 4 Remake coming to macOS, just one question remains:

When's Street Fighter 6? SF6 on Mac would be the big one.
