And this is why people are going to stop buying iPads. They’re cannibalising the iPad for the iPhone. And Macs are rockstars after moving away from Intel.6.1- and 6.7-inches to 6.3- and 6.9-inches.
It’s over for the iPad people.

Same here, my reason for upgrading is mostly type C, and the bigger screen. I plan on keeping it for 10+ years, hoping rumors are true that it’ll be fairly easy to replace the battery.I’m on an X. I got my moneys worth. I’m getting the ProMax and will keep it just as long as I did the X unless Apple does something like get us an all screen phone. Then yeah I’ll upgrade early.
I’m not convinced it’s worth it. The non pro models are also getting type c and the action button, so you’re really only paying for titanium (who cares when it’s going to sit in a case anyway?) and the periscope lensThis price hike has been warned for at least the past two years, but I’m afraid this year will be true.
It makes sense, because this year we’re getting a whole new design and material for the smartphone body (titanium), a SoC built on an industry leading process (the first chip manufactured at 3nm) and smaller additions such as the action button and the new USB-C port.
This year’s Pro iPhone is a really big change from what we had previously, and that usually means price increase by Apple’s rules.

Tri- or quad-fold - I like that idea, something REALLY newThe smallest iPad screen is still substantially larger than this rumored iPhone Maxi Pro Mach II Deluxe. Phone is forever limited by trying to fit into a pocket. iPad simply assumes no pocket-ability. The fold/roll phone concept is best shot at supplementing "little" iPads while still not challenging bigger ones... unless that roll is a substantial roll and/or fold becomes tri- or quad-fold.

Happy to see you of course!"Is that a multi-fold phone in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"![]()
And all of this will be true, and we will all still buy it.Regardless of the price increase, Apple will claim that, “We think you are going to love it. It’s the best iPhone Apple has ever worked on.”
The Pro Max gets one extra camera feature over the Pro and you pay $100 more to have it. Otherwise it's the same just larger. A $200 difference wouldn't be worth it. What people really want is both Pro's to be the same just different sizes but Apple won't do that.If we are going back to the 14 Pro not having all the features of the max because you only get all features if you have a massive phone then they better not be raising the price. Make those big phone people pay extra extra.
Yes that's generally how capitalism works.Current corporate slogans should be, "Profit above all."
I would rate the possibility of it getting “less” expensive as HIGHLY UNLIKELYIt may get more expensive, but at the same time, it may also get less expensive. No one really knows. There's always two sides to one story
Im not saying your're wrong, but I'm going to guess the most profitable company in the world has done their homework. Not sure how wise it would be to raise prices in current economic environment.
A phone with a plastic screen and a crease in the middle? No thanks, I very much dbout apple would do that either.Happy to see you of course!
I think Apple is overdue for a foldable…
No no, the action button this year is exclusive for the Pro model. Next year, with the iPhone 16, the action button will spread to the regular lineup.I’m not convinced it’s worth it. The non pro models are also getting type c and the action button, so you’re really only paying for titanium (who cares when it’s going to sit in a case anyway?) and the periscope lens
