Sucks. I figured I'll give it this one last week.
If it arrives next week I will just decline to pick it up and leave the card dispute.
No point in driving out there when another week or so, heck even 3, I can go to the nearby Apple Store
 
Yea definitely 38s seem better ordered from apple at this point. Who knows, maybe there'll be more shipments this week compared to last week.
 
I've been lurking in this thread for info so I wanted to update:

Ordered a white sports 38 on 5/8. Got the call at 12:00 today for pickup. Seemed like lots of people were coming in for pickups.
 
Based on my experience with the order and the process this is what I've gathered. These are speculations, not facts.

You order your watch of choice at Maxfield's.
The orders take about 14 calendar days to arrive (most models)
Shipments come in the EVENING before (5PM to be accurate) and the buyers are contacted the next morning. (I got lucky and they happened to call me for my SGS BSB 42 last night right when the shipment came in).
Sports bands are available for purchase in all colors and no appointment is necessary
Shipping times on the 42mm are 100% faster than ordering through Apple. A 2 week wait isn't difficult.

This is all gathered based on what I experienced with my 42 SGS BSB order placed on 5/5 and took delivery 5/19. I had been in contact with many of the reps there are finally got a hold of an individual who did not provide me with any misleading or incorrect information.
 
Sport bands? Do they happen to have the 38mm? I only ask because I called yesterday and was told 'we don't have any apple watches in stock' when I asked about the bands. I clarified that I was talking about the bands only and was told the same thing again...
 
Well it's been a unique experience with Maxfield and this forum.

Thanks to all for their time and effort in posting and updating making this experience a little better.

Just went and picked mine up and I am on hold with my credit card as I type this canceling the dispute I started yesterday. I knew by calling and opening a dispute that would make them call me. That is the way it always works out.
