Who cares, Flash sucks in every way. One more piece of Adobe bloatware.

Yes, these things will come around like they did on the AppleTV, but just the idea of ~another~ locked system really has me bugged.
There is no way Steve approved that announcement; and if anyone thinks he did better have a damn good explanation as to why.

This sounds like another great consumer device and cash cow for Apple that will leverage the app store, iTunes, and media streaming. However, what I want from Apple is a slate/tablet based on OS X with handwriting recognition and pen input that I can use in my business for electronic signing of documents.
Another consumer Apple product with zero business application.
The iPhone OS is perfect foundation for a touch-tablet interface.
Nope. It's a well-timed Apple PR leak.
"I like to smell my textbooks"
WTF!!
No flash on the iPhone - ok, w/e, Hulu would probably suck anyway but, holy cow, that's got to be one of the main points of this stupid thing is to be able to watch TV on the go and you absolutely, positively have to have Flash if you're going to do that...
THING IS...
What we will see over this coming year is a merging of iPhone OS and Mac OS... the lines between them will become more blurred.
Here here!
along with me please.
So whatis see going to do pull out of the deal that would force nearly every college student to get a tablet? wake up SJ has more to lose on this one.
That CEO could parade around naked with just an apple table covering his privates and SJ still wouldn't bite. Imagine an HP tablet suddenly appearing in the colleges and taking away that market share.
Jobs is going to call this guy and ask him to keep quiet next time.
We've all heard enough about flash.
iPhone OS = NO BUY.
This idiot just stole the spotlight from Steve. He should concentrate on overpriced textbook's and leave Apple info to Steve.
