how did you load imobilecinema on your ipad? I tried 2 different package sources and it loaded fine ( I can see it in my packages list) but when I either go int SBsetting there is no toggle switch nor is there a plugins button under safari?

There is a separate program for a sbsettings toggle, I'll have to check but I think it's in the same repo as imobilecinema.

I got this working today. It wasn't pretty but it now that it is all setup it works, and works well.

You got flash 10.1 onto your ipad?!?

Yah, I pulled comex's code from git and got it working. It is pretty sweet, though buggy. A lot of flash links don't seem to work right but it works for simple flash animations and the like.

apparently frash will not work with flash VIDEO. flash animations/games will work fine as its vector based or something.

so yeah, frash VIDEO is the main challenge. in essence, its a long way from finished.

...

Imobilecinema is ok it works for some flash videos but not all of them. Also for some reason when it loads on my ipad the video is ale ays full screeand has no controls for scrub forward or backward or exit the video without quitting the browser

It has controls, click on the upper left of the screen to get them to pop up. It still thinks it's on an iPhone.

Looks like flash video is not supported at this time.
So I will just wait coz I am not interested in Flash-base games at all.

...

That sucks it won't play video, that is the only thing i would want it for

It doesnt play video? only crappy flash games ?

What a let down....

Im out

frash is working well for me so far with most things. banners are fine and videos that i have tried have the sound perfect but the framerate is way off so that needs some work.

i didnt really care about flash but if it available i will install it as long as i can control it.

the thing i like about this is that it loads the Adobe Flash logo on flash items in a page and then can you tap on them if you want them to run. this is a nice option until it comes outta beta and hopefully has and on and off switch as i would not want it all the time.

here is a screenshot i took on a page with flash banners and a flash video from the site www.expeditersonline.com

this is from my iPad i just have it themed to look like my Mac with a Finder task bar but you can see my battery level and wifi are from the iPad so it is not fake LOL

Holy crap, I think I'm going to look into truck driver school.

lol i was expecting something like that as it is not exactly a site a lot of people here would visit but its my companies site and what i tested to see if it works and it also had flash banners and video right there for me to look at :)

How's the battery life hit?

i havent noticed any difference yet but i just got it working last night and i would think it would take me about a week to really see if there is a difference.

i will try and pay attention to any differences.

i rarely pay attention to my battery since i have it plugged in all day on my desk then take it home then plug it back in the next morning. i dont think i have ever had it below 50%

Just gave it a go. It works surprisingly well, considering it's an early build. As stated, no video playback, but all other Flash animations run smoothly in Safari, and all Flash content is "Tap to Enable".
