Should Apple give us free bumpers...?

Since the bumper is needed to avoid the signal breaks, I sent an email to Lord Jobs and prayed for a refund of the $30 I paid for the bumper :D

I think this is a great idea I'll happily sign the petition because while I do buy an iPhone for all added benefits of being the best smart phone the market. It still has to be a phone.

The only problem here is numbers. Even if you got 10,000 people to sign the petition it's only 1.6% of the first day sales and about 1% of total sales thus far. I doubt that would even be enough to sway apple into doing something like this. You should do what you can to get this posted on every website possible so that more people can sign it.

Good luck and I hope it works.

Thanks guys! And yeah I know, this petition might not do anything, but at least it gives some hope to call Apple themselves and demand a bumper, since that supposably helps with the problem. People shouldn't have to buy a case just for something to work like it should. If enough people complain, who knows, they might do this. And public outcry has worked in the past with good reasoning, I don't see why we can't change this either.

Do you think Apple should give free Bumpers to early iPhone 4 adopters...?

With the solution for reception issues being handed off with 'use a bumper' from apple customer service and other apple employees, shouldn't appl ebe giving them away.

There is no way apple can justify saying that they accept that there are reception issues and the only way to resolve them is to purchase another of their products... surely this is against fair trade or something like that?

Its like buying a TV and then being told you need to purchase the remote separately!

I for one think they should be giving them away until the issue is resolved!

It's still a business. They still have a job to do... and the fact that they gave bottled smart water, doughnuts, and bacon-egg-cheese sandwiches to people waiting in line... I think that we should probably just say "thank you" for what we got.

No its masking the problem! much like using masking tape I see using fixing it!

Has anyone complained and received a free bumper?

Im just curious I don't know if anyone has stated so. I purchased my iPhone from an ATT&T where they only had 1 type of case, don't even think it was a bumper case, whatever it was it was purple and ugly.

Has anyone called Apple support to complain about the reception issue and received a free bumper? If yes, what did you say? I want to call and get mine :D

I called and got $25 courtest credit due to all my ordering issues. I'm not gonna stop there though...

IPhone 4...They need to get a Grip not us!!

Ive had my 2new 32g IPhone 4 for less than 24 hours and have had at least 15 dropped calls and unable to access the web at times...this is a bunch of BS!! We deserve ahell of lot more than a free bumper case!! But I did sign the petition via FaceBook...however they need to give us our free bumper case-s like today!!!!!! Otherwise this crap is going back...their is no way ima spend over $700 for 2 phones and can't even have a conversation cuz it drops like its hot! & all they respond is to get a grip the right way...well I think not..I spent 10 hours in line yesterday...n I am really upset now n they better find a solution or I'm takn them back!! Damn right they new about this issue beforehand!! Ima go to the apple store in a bit lets see what happens!! Wish me luck!!

No, definitely not. When I merely touched my 3G or any of my previous phones, they did not drop calls.

Be honest now, have you actually tested this theory? Have you been on a call and then merely touched the iPhone 4 and the phone call dropped? Or is this conjecture?

If your phone is really that bad just return it. What the hell is wrong with you people? Why would you keep an obviously defective device!? Vote with your wallets and return it. Let Apple know you won't put up with this.

Then again, you obviously will put up with it. You've all made Apple your pimp and you've become Apple's *****es.

Free Bumpers

I called and told apple my problem with holding the new phone and about the signal decline and they are sending me a free bumper! I have the e/m to prove it !:D:D:D
