Too bad every comparison is comparing it to the year old iPhone. Wait till June 7th
Fixed.
Literally every other review says the opposite for the things he complains about.

Another review saying battery sucks and not as polished as iPhone. Must be fixed...........
this is the 3rd review so far with battery complaints. LOL
yeah but there's more reviews that says the battery life is good. Battery life will be different for everyone. That goes for all phones. I still see many ppl complain about the Iphone only lasting 6hrs.
*EDIT* he lost all credibility when he reference techcrunch.com in one of his comments below. So he's another Apple drone. Also doesn't help when the guy that did the silly fanboy review is also writing in the comment section.
He wrote a review for TechCrunch (well, MobileCrunch, same thing), didn't he? I never saw MG as being a fanboy. He prefers one phone over the other, does that automatically make him a fanboy? Does that mean you're an Android fanboy?

Did you read the comments? The Evo review is simply biased. He is the only reviewer who thinks the HTC keyboard is worse than the stock keyboard. Seriously, every reviewer, regardless of their final verdicts, prefer the HTC keyboard over the stock keyboard. How can anyone take this review seriously![]()

EVO Battery Life?
Some plan to soup it up with the
Innocell Battery 3500mAh
133% more capacity than the original battery
Adds only 3-4mm to back

For me I plan to max it out with the
HyperMac Mini Battery 7200mAh
Since I work out of my car all day and will be surfing the iPad via EVO hotspot

I just can't comprehend posts like this. Why can't someone dislike something? Tons of people love physical keyboards on their phones; I tried it and absolutely hated it. Does that mean I am just biased and am wrong? Or does it mean that people have different tastes?
No he is bias because half his review of negative things would be solved if he spent more than a a day or 2 with the device.. he going from a iphone, who knows how long he has been a user... to a phone with OPTIONS and CHOICE... it does simply put you in some box and say you can touch only these walls... Android kicks that box open and says HEY EXPLORE(If your capable and willing)
I have had the EVO for going on 2 weeks... I can say this is the best phone out hands down...
...in your opinion. I switched from the iphone to a N1 (which many android fans prefer over the iPhone) and I hate it. I'm open minded and I gave it a chance, it's just not for me. You can read about my experience switching in my sig. You'll find that they're fair and valid complaints.
Iphone has the appstore and its ridiculous amount of apps... but I do not thins Iphone is "Easier" to use(Which is a common counter arguement against android.) In fact I think its harder use that Android.. given its "app for everything" operation...
I did read your review, as well as commented on it... I am not doubting your experiences.. I understand for some people switch from the Iphone is "hard" but once you COMPLETELY make the switch(like get rid of your iphone, so as to not have a chance to fall back) and give it a month... you will be sold!
N1 has a weird touchscreen and hardware buttons.. EVO does not have ANY of that... so that already makes it better...
The OS, quite frankly, is a POS. People might not notice it just playing around, but after using it exclusively for a couple months, I just get angered by it. Taps don't register, web pages move around five times right before they're going to finish loading, copy/paste sucks, apps are not nearly as polished (this isn't just something people say because it's a talking point, it's true), things lag for no reason (with a 1ghz SnapDragon no less!), and a million other small issues that bug the hell out of me. It just adds up. It's tiring having to deal with that stuff all the time. I know I can customize Android, but at the end of the day, I just want to get stuff done. I am more productive on iPhone than I am on the stock Android 2.1.
All of that is a simple fix with a root and a custom ROM installed, something you cant do on an iPhone by the waySell that N1 to someone who will appreciate it
