Mine is still "prepared for shipment". Has been "prepared for shipment" for almost 24 hours :( I ordered a white 32GB and am a new customer to AT&T. I am not porting my old number over. Please get here on the 19th! I am house sitting in LA and had it shipped to the LA address. It still says delivers by June 19th, but I am getting worried.

At least now I know it'll be here friday instead of guessing and that it'll be here before 10:30. Works out for me since my boss told me to take the day off so I don't miss the package. :D

One more day!

ME:There is a hold on my package can I get it removed?
UPS:Let me look into that
UPS:Is this an iPhone
ME:Yes
UPS:Apple put a hold on these because the product isn't to be released until Friday.
Me:Oh, I didn't know that, when will it be delivered
UPS:Friday by 10:30

I have a UPS preferred account and I just spoke to my service rep and Apple has a hold on all of these phones and they are going to all be delivered by 10:30AM on 6/19. It's not like they're scattered all over the country so that some UPS hubs might release them early. All of the home shipments are sitting on pallets in KY and won't go anywhere until tomorrow. Sometime tomorrow they will ship them out to the local hubs and they will be out for delivery on 6/19.

I will be shocked if anyone in the US gets it early. If anyone does it will probably be an inside job at an ATT store or a clueless ATT employee. But I can't believe that UPS will screw up and deliver any early. I'd love to be wrong though. That would be pretty cool for somebody.:D

I agree with you 100% For example mine is in Ky for home delivery in NM. All they have to do is release in the morning and take the flight to ABQ for delivery Friday as promised. Whats going to be funny is some folks are going to be pissed because they got them as promised instead of early:eek:

Based on everything I've been seeing it sounds like those of us who were early adopters AND opted for Overnight shipping will have it coming from some location in the US. Because of this I'm going to reserve all my assumptions until tomorrow.

yepp that's exactly what I did so if nothing changes tonight and i wake up tomorrow morning and still nothing..apple will be getting a very angry call from me.

This is important to note. I've ordered at least five computers from apple.com and had virtually the same experience. I don't know how they do it, but it should give comfort to those still waiting for shipping notices.

I don't think that's new news, Apple has already said that orders received before the 17th would be delivered by Friday.

The problem is that you don't know that now.

Your phone is just sitting in Louisville wasting away there, while it could be sent out right now to guarantee it gets there by Friday.

Our Phones still have a little journey to go through before they are out for delivery, and this is just pointless. The phones should be sent off to guarantee a ship date instead of being held and then released last second so they can just barely make the launch date.

I have faith it will come by friday. Louisville to Jersey is only 11 hours. If they're not flying it over, they'll drive it over tomorrow to get them to the local facilities. There should be no reason for it to be delayed.
 
I ordered one iPhone through att.com on June 11 and it still hasn't had a tracking number, do you think mine will be shipped by Friday still?
