I have shipped via FedEx as late as 6:00 pm and had next day delivery no problem.
That will be at your house tomorrow. Not sure where you are, but it will fly to either Louisville or Rockford around 10 pm, then in the wee hours of the morning to your closest airport and out for delivery before 8 am.
My understanding is UPS needs to have the package in their hands by 5PM.
finally got my email that my phone was shipped i order on tuesday the 16th in the afternoon. apple was still saying ur phone will be delivered by the 19th. the email i just recieved said the phone will be delievered on the 22nd. i know early that email might have been a mistake, but im curious if people still think it is a mistake or my phone wont get here tomorrow.

If it was an email from Apple that said the 22nd, that is incorrect. If you ordered before the cutoff date, you will get it tomorrow.
I also ordered from Premier on the 12th and paid extra for overnight shipping, but my status still says "in progress". It did move out of back-ordered status this morning, but still not shipping! I'm gonna strangle AT&T if I paid extra for overnight shipping and don't get my phone until Monday........while you can order today from Apple and either pick it up or have it delivered tomorrow for FREE!
How do I check where my phone EXACTLY is. Since early yesterday it has said Anchorage, Alaska. Can it still be there or is it on a flight here?

That's not correct. I ordered minutes after the keynote ended (12:18 PM EDT, June 8th) and mine shipped out from China on the 17th.
thanks if i had to wait till the 22nd it wouldnt be that bad. cause having to wait through the weekend is nothing compared to having to wait through the work week.
They could ship it at 4:00 PM tonight, and you would still get it tomorrow. Everything Apple and ATT have said confirms that we'll get our phones tomorrow if we ordered before the 13th.
Mine is still "In Progress" on AT&T's site.... so I dont have a tracking number yet either, but I'm hopeful it ships soon
The day isn't over yet! The cutoff time for FedEx overnight packages is around late afternoon local time. It will get shipped.

Whohoo. Just got my notification from Apple. Ordered on 6/15/09. Shipping overnight via Fedex to South Florida. Black 32GB iphone. Come to me now. 
FDE is listed as the carrier on mine (I am assuming its FedEx), but no tracking number. My backup plan is to head to the Apple store tomorrow if AT&T screws this up. I ordered on 6/09 so this would be typical for AT&T at least in my experience.FDE?
Phone carrier is AT&T. No tracking number so I dont know if it is being shipped FedEX or UPS.
Saw it from AT&T's online thing. Right as I got the number here for the automated phone thing to check the order

My email from Apple was actually sent to my me.com account at 8:29AM. But I have been checking all morning and just now got it at 11:31AM. Wow, there email servers are way behind....
