Well How about that. Delivery date for the 16GB iPhone just shifted five days to 6/17. I'm not sure how it can get to SF from China in two days, but just maybe...If so, my GF could have it before she heads off to LA. She'd like that.

Why is my 32GB still only "Prepared for shipment?" I'm sure I was one of the few to order that particular model in black.

it looks like the people getting their iphone early are the ones from the west coast...GREAT!!!:( I live in the midwest..

two are from CA and one from TX

Alright, just checked my status and it says that it was shipped and I should get it the 18th.

As said before, I ordered from Apple on the 11th (Thursday) at noon.

I have the notification but no "Your shipment is on time..." line in bold print. I have standard shipping... do you have upgraded to two day or overnight?

Uh oh

As I was reading this thread, I received an e-mail from Apple.. Looks like mine won't arrive until next Monday even though I ordered on the 8th. To add a data point, I ordered the 16GB Black and selected Standard Shipping. My status changed to "Prepared for Shipment" on Sunday.

Update.. checked the UPS Tracking Information, and it says "Rescheduled for Delivery on the 17th". Hmmmm...

Maybe it'll come early still. Cross your fingers!

Did it say online that it would be delivered by the 19th?

I still kind of doubt anyone will be getting theirs early, let alone 3 days.

The possiblity of them arriving early is high. Up until yesterday all preorders were said to arrive BY the 19th, as of last night, shipping status on apple.com has been update to say that a preorder today is due to arrive ON the 19th. Someone obviously gave that some thought.

Besides, it makes sense that after 2 botched releases (original and 3G iPhones) with Apple and AT&T being unable to activate phones timely on the release date, that Apple would be staggering shipments and the release of 3.0 to take the load off the servers on the official release day.

Is this tracking going be OUR date or china's date?

date at the destination.

I ordered three family plan phones the first day on apple.com Just got UPS tracking for two of them, one with a "rescheduled" delivery date of June 16 and one with a "rescheduled" delivery date of the June 17.

Still nothing on the third.

Sorry it is very small but if you can read it was actually "shipped

Honestly I would get ahold of them. At this point I've had at least 4-5 apple reps tell me orders from them will reach customers by 19th. And I placed mine today. Seriously though, you should call. Being as it shipped today, it has the potential to reach you by the 19th.

DARN it! My wife's is tracking for an arrival tomorrow... mine Wednesday. ;)

Ordered day of keynote through apple.com and delivering to california.
