The Apple site did say it was going to be delivered by the 19th when the status was "Prepared for Shipping", but that's gone now.. it doesn't mention a delivery date AT ALL now.
But as I edited my post above to say (since people my not re-read), the UPS tracking info is quite different, with a delivery date of the 17th!
Gotta go to sleep...hopefully I get an email confirming shipping tonight.

Yeah, I think so.. it's 2PM right now in Hong Kong (essentially where the shipping origin is), so middle of the work day.. Hopefully you get yours soon!
As I was reading this thread, I received an e-mail from Apple.. Looks like mine won't arrive until next Monday even though I ordered on the 8th.
Update.. checked the UPS Tracking Information, and it says "Rescheduled for Delivery on the 17th". Hmmmm...

Same exact situation except I ordered the 32 GB. My UPS tracking also shows rescheduled delivery on 17th. Says service is "Express."
I'm satisfied, and can now go to sleep.
Actually, the two UPS tracking emails I just got were for our two family plan phones. The third phone that I ordered BEFORE those two, which wasn't on our family plan... still nothing. Kind of weird. I'd have thought shipping info on the single non-family plan phone ordered earlier would've come first.
I wonder if it's because the non-family plan phone has a text package on it?
ETA: JUST GOT number 3. Also on the 17th. So two on the 17th and one on the 16th. Not bad.

Shipped/billed 6/16 with 6/17 Delivery Date
My 32GB Black 3G S was ordered from the online apple store on 6/11 and shows Billed/Shipped on 6/16 with a 6/17 delivery date. Trust me... I will be receiving mine on 6/19 just like EVERYBODY else here. I have seen this several times before. Really wouldn't mind it a couple of days early, though. Won't happen.

I wouldn't doubt it, though I'm not holding my breath that I'll get it on Thursday. I guess we will find out within the next 2 days if those people who have 6/17/09 dates get theirs or not.
It should be standard, as I didn't pay extra for shipping.
It should be our time. My UPS page is using ET, so it would be strange if they DID use China's date.
And spend all that precious time on hold with elevator music when I could be concentrating on typing here and giving myself an ulcer all at the same time? I'll try calling again tomorrow.
Mine finally shipped as well. UPS says the same as some of the other posts here, all origin scanned and billed late yesterday/early today. Delivery date is 6/17/2009 per UPS (I'm not holding my breath - I bet UPS holds them).
Like others, the only thing troubling to me was that up until I got the shipping notification, the Apple Store status said "Delivers by June 19th" and the email I received says "Shipment Date: June 16th, 2009 Delivers by: June 22nd, 2009". I presume (nay hope) that this is simply boilerplate email since my order was with standard shipping (5 days) and Apple simply didn't make any changes to the store to account for this "special" iPhone shipping.
Plus UPS tracking information says "WORLD EASE / EXPRESS" which certainly doesn't seem to me plain like plain old "when it gets here" international shipping, but you never know...

I think if that were the case, it would give a delivery date of the 19th. We're talking about what it says on the UPS tracking, not apple.
Besides, apple has changed their m.o. with every generation of the iphone. So maybe this time we'll have a nice surprise. Even so, I'd rather get mine on Monday, or even Tuesday, than wake up at 7am to stand in line!

I just checked my bank account and the charge has dropped...it dropped once before but my balance did not change...I just checked it again and it was dropped again and this time my balance was different, it was more.
I remember reading a post of someone being told that they have to bring all documents PLUS make sure you took take of delinquent dues!

World Ease means they're shipping all the packages as 1 "shipment" so they clear customs faster. http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/shipping/time/service/value_added/worldease.html

Unless UPS agreed to hold them (and I doubt they would.. holding = storage, and they're not in the storage business) then I think they'll arrive on the scheduled date.
