AT&T Premier Message
I'm freaking out!!! I ordered from AT&T and I still haven't gotten a tracking number and it seems everyone else that ordered from At&T has a tracking number.
I ordered mine the 10th at 5am.
I sent a message to their customer service asking if my phone would be delivered on the 19th or 20th since I paid extra for the overnight shipping charge. Below is the exact response I got from AT&T........doesn't sound too knowledgable or confident.
"Dear Mr. Roberts,
Thank you for taking the time to e-mail AT&T regarding the shipment for
the New iPhone 3Gs, for mobile number 704-***-****. My name is Pamela
Bennett and I am happy to help you with your inquiry.
Mr. Roberts, prior to iPhone 3G S being available on June 19, 2009,
customers can pre-order the new device beginning on June 8, 2009. Inform
customers that pre-orders can be placed to have one reserved for the
morning of June 19, 2009. The orders will
start shipping on June 19th;
depending on the number of iPhone pre-ordered will determine the date
you receive. I would allow 2-3 days. I know that you paid for overnight,
I would imagine you will receive the iPhone on June 20, 2009, however we
have no shipping information to go by at this time. If you have further
questions or concerns please respond to this e-mail or contact Customer
Service, 1-800-331-0500 from a landline or, 611 from your AT&T cell
phone.
