hey same with me....you getting it delivered to the store?

my order just showed tracking info about 30 min ago....but still shows 'in progress' and not 'shipped' :confused: who knows...looking forward to friday!! (my 3rd IPHONE day!! had the iphone on day one every year! SO EXCITING!) :apple:

Yes, I ordered on Sunday from Apple, and the phone is now 'Prepared for shipment.' I originally had it scheduled to be delivered to my office, but then seeing as how a lot of the orders are being sent UPS, and UPS in Manhattan being horrible (at least around my office), I updated to have it shipped to my Brooklyn apartment. Now I'm just looking for an excuse to 'work from home' on Friday, so that I'm there when it arrives.

i am from outside philly and mine just switched as well, i guess it will be shipping from either jersey or pa area... i wish they would let us know!:eek:

I should have ordered from Apple.com, i placed the order on June 10th and still no change in status its been

Is there anyone who pre-ordered through an AT&T Store able to use the tracking number from the order status site at UPS.com to track their iPhone? I tried entering mine but I get the message "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later." The tracking number showed up a couple of days ago, but I still can't track it.

I ordered mine the day of release at 9pm central online. It shows "Prepared for Shipment" and has showed that for two days. Should I be worried?

Same here, except mine just showed up. I ordered on the 12th.

Hey I was thinking, Our phones are already in the US and are just waiting to be delivered to the store...

Per the AT&T site
Shipped: Our warehouse has shipped this item.

Where is the AT&T warehouse located? Most likely not in China.

Yep, delivered to an AT&T store in Huntsville. Weird about the progress/shipped thing... probably just a glitch if you have a tracking number.

This will only be 2nd iPhone launch day... ;) I arrived at the same AT&T store last year about 5 minutes before the store opened at 8 and right around 10:00AM I got in the store and got the last black 16GB. Woo! Hopefully this time it'll just be a quick in and out. I hope I can just grab the box, and leave instead of sitting through an activation in-store.
 
When I called UPS they told me there was absolutely NO HOLD on the package (I gave my tracking number) and no notes or restrictions. UPS will NOT be holding the package from what I was told by their customer service department.

What did you order? I'd suggest trying to buy a phone through Apple to see if it still shows the discount and if so then call the Premier number: 866-499-8008 and cancel. I used this number to cancel my Premier order after doing an in-store order on Friday.
