Anything for poor ppl who ordered through at&t premier? Its worthless to contact at&t since none of their representatives seem to know anything....

i feel you on that one can't wait to get my iphone again but still no tracking info hope that changes at the end of the day
Got shipment notification @ 9:28 EST. Ordered from Apple on 6/12. Coming from China as mentioned above via UPS.
from san diego, CA and pre-ordered three black 32 gb from local at&t store on june 11th and glad to see they all have tracking numbers. like other at&t pre-orderers though, tracking numbers are still not active. oh and i saw most people having ship date of 6/12/09 and mine is 6/13... anybody else on 6/13? see attachments.. hope you guys that ordered before me get yours though, it is unfair that some of u dont have tracking numbers yet. other details on my order include: new customer to at&t, NOT porting numbers yet (vzw contract doesnt end till june 27th!)

AFAIK UPS does not have a fleet of cargo ships. Even if they did, it takes a LOT longer than 4 days to sail across the Pacific. Your iPhone is coming via air.

Are you porting your number from another carrier? Mine looks the same as yours and I porting from Verizon.
Yeah, and can you imagine all the water sensors activating due to the long time in the high humidity of the ocean?
I am signing up for new service, although others have advised i could have the discounts applied afterwards if i bought from apple or regular at&t, i figured i would go direct with premier to save any potential issues. Through premier i got about a 15% discount on my data and voice plan plus i don't believe i paid an activiation fee, all in i should be $67/month with voice/data minus the taxes. However looking at this forum, it appears that those who ordered directly from Apple are having abetter experience with shipping updates.

I ordered on the 8th right after the keynote. Mine still says shipping on the 19th to arrive on the 22nd. I got the email saying it would arrive on the 19th, but the site hasn't been updated.

The order I placed withe Apple on June 8th 12:30pm has a ship date of June 19th on it. I received an email from Apple the day after stated that is an error and I will receive my order on June 19th. I checked my order status today and it remains the same. So I called and verified even though the online status is still incorrect. My order will arrive on Friday. I sure hope so!

Yup. I am exactly in the same boat. The Premier folks may be the "bastard children" in this whole process.
We were with the release of the iphone 3G. Nice to know things haven't changed. I ordered mine direct from Apple this time. Decided not to deal with the crap of AT&T and there random shipping process that they put us all through with the 3G release last year.

I am a pretty patient person. What gets my goose though is how people are going to walk in on the 19th, having no pre-order to speak of, and get a phone. Oh well
I thought about this morning whether I should try to cancel my order with AT&T and go through Apple, but I figure it is probably too late to get anything on or around the 19th with Apple with new orders. So looks like I just need to wait it out.

Have you called to see what is going on? When I last called, the rep said ours will be shipped on the 19th. But I am not sure whether that can be trusted as reliable data.
