Ordered on June 8th...Hopefully I get it by the 19th. Not looking hopefully at the moment.

I called my store that I ordered from and they said if you ordered before saturday you will be guaranteed a phone and they will probably receive their shipments of phones on thursday!

Ordered on the 8th right after the keynote. Called and got free overnight shipping and still nothing for me. Order on apple.com still says "order has not be shipped". Not too worried though, I'll give it til Thursday before I get worried if I still don't have a tracking number.

Same here. mine is overnight shipping. Maybe they ship it later since it takes shorter to arrive.

Placed my order for 32GB version on June 8th, 8:20pm PST (standard shipping).

Received shipped notification this morning, UPS tracking number says shipped at 9pm local time from Shenzen and I now have the option to pre-sign on the Apple site.

Only glitch is I have no voice plan listed (even though I am "upgrading" from a 3G), no idea what happened there.

Thanks for reserving your iPhone. You can come to the store you selected anytime on the day of your reservation. When you arrive, talk to a Concierge in an orange shirt. We'll help you complete your purchase, set up your phone, and get off to a great start. " It displayed the correct apple store I'm picking up at but no date to pick up the phone. Has anyone else done this or received anything from apple?

I too reserved a phone for pickup. I got the same message. Well, me name isn't George, but with the same goofy capitalization.

I've had no further communication. I'm planning on showing up at the store after work on Friday... Hopefully "reserved" really means reserved.

Edit: I double checked my confirmation email and it says "Date: Friday, Jun 19" so no worries from me. (For some reason, I thought it had no date, which made me nervous.

I have two orders:

1 from Apple (upgrade of 3G iPhone) and it says Not Yet Shipped -- ordered June 8th.


1 from AT&T (new line) which says shipped on June 15th but there is no tracking number yet

If you add it the say you have the account active and it is more then a few days before the bill cycle date it will apply on the first bill don't worry. At worst the next bill... Think about it if you sign up and the next day the bill cycles yeah it may not show verizon is the same... Relax and take a deep breath LOL.

Why would it be retroactive... Someone could add it the day before and its there own damn fault they waited... Just add it the first day your active and you will be good to go. Add online through your work email or it may take 1 bill cycle. The 1-2 is just a form statement.

Already hating AT&T: I'm lucky to have a corporate (or Premier) discount, but I just found out that the discount doesn't apply for the first two months or so of AT&T service -- not even retroactively. (It apparently takes them that long to verify one's eligibility for the discount.)

It does have the date to pick up the phone: "You can come to the store you selected anytime on the day of your reservation."

I'm upgrading from a 2G and my order shows same in regards to voice. I believe you select the voice plan when you activate or else the default is your existing voice plan.

Does anyone that is porting a number to ATT from another carrier (for their iphone order) have a tracking number yet?

I think all of us that are porting numbers from other carriers are getting the shaft with our pre-orders Hopefully it doesnt delay us long

I ordered a 32GB White 3GS on June 8th with Overnight Shipping and UPS now says my package was scanned in Shenzhen 6/15/09 at 10:27AM.

Am I on the first shipment or what?

So has anyone with overnight shipping (or even 2 day shipping) had theirs shipped from Apple yet?

Once again I am getting a little concerned about whether I will receive mine on the 19th. What will really suck is the fact that I relaxed after I got the letter saying Apple made a mistake and that everyone would receive their phones on the 19th. I could have had Apple switch my shipping to standard...and then my phone would be shipping today like everyone else's....instead, I trusted Apple...I trusted the Apple customer service rep who said I would be better off with overnight shipping (this was before the letter was sent to everyone)....

And what would make it even worse if I dont receive it on the 19th is that I ordered it immediately after the Apple store re-opened after the keynote was finished.....while today I read that people who ordered their phones yesterday with standard shipping are getting emails saying their phones have shipped.

So Apple - I hope you are going to take care of the large number of people who, due to whatever reason, used overnight shipping. They need to receive their phones on the 19th too.

I'm upgrading from the 2G as well. I ordered mine from Apple for shipment. Does anyone know if there will be a new sim card in it like the 2Gs were or do we swap it?

IIRC the 2G has a 3G SIM card. At any rate Apple and ATT know I'm upgrading from 2G so I assume they'll include a new SIM if I need one.

Mine is the same. I pre-ordered from Apple too and it says no voice plan. Not a big deal though, because when we sync our phones we pick all the plans and stuff (Just like when we did the 3G)

How can you get the shaft if Apple promised delivery by the 19th and today is only the 15th?

I ordered 2 phones from the premier site because my wife wanted one as well. But i remember a section under shipping when i filled it all out saying that the phones would be shipped overnight on the 18th. So I'm not bothered yet that the premier site isnt updated.

I also had a pre-order at an ATT store that I need to go in and cancel on Friday making someone in line very happy. I wish I could sell my pre-order.

Why did you pay for Overnight Shipping? You are not going to get you phone any faster than if you'd order the free shipping. Do yourself a favor and call up Apple and get a refund for your shipping. (I made your mistake before so I know what I'm talking about. There is no express shipping from China.)

May as well go with their free shipping, you're basically burning your bills on Overnight.

I pre-ordered a 32GB 3GS black on 6/11 from an AT&T store and was told by the representative it was back-ordered and there is a good likelihood I won't get it until the following week. However, today I went online to check my status and it has a ship date of 6/13 via UPS with a tracking number. So I assume that means it will be there on Friday.

I just saw this at the bottom of the reservation form "Pre-authorization does not guarantee iPhone avaliability at an Apple Retail Store. iPhone is sold on a first come first serve basis." So I guess this means we really don't have a reservation??
