Stop making sense... this is the Internet.
Now get back out there and find some unreasonable argument to make.
Not really Nevpaurion... illegal/pirated downloads may have slowed sales, but it took
legal online sales to really make the difference. I can remember a time when Tower Records was supposed to introduce a system whereby we could walk in the store and select some songs... and then they would burn us a CD with just those songs (and charge accordingly). That system never appeared (at least not in Boston). Yes, napster p2p & mp3
did start the ball rolling... but that particular ball would have eventually <
rolled off the edge>.
Personally speaking, the iTunes Store was the nail in the coffin for Tower Records as far as my wallet was concerned. My monthly expenditures fell from about $40/month (at Tower) to $15/month (at iTunes). All legal.
[and i've only purchased one CD player since 2005 (a Bose unit for the bedroom).]
How true. This is supposedly a thread about a new Windows phone, right?... yet 30% of the posts are from people still whining about no Blu-ray/1080P from Apple. Yadda.yadda.yadda.
