Dude
It's not over yet🙂. One thing you "Fair Weather Fans" will never understand about us Philly fans is that we never give up 😉 We've been there before...😎
It's is certainly too early to give up, even with a Philly loss tonight.
But a Philly win however would not only tie it a 2-2, but post wins against CC twice in the WS. That can be used as a psychological factor. But psychology and superstition aside, Philly will have to stick to their game plan and perform well. I can see rallies helping in one game, but over a series, the better team definitely wins. The team with the better hitting staff and better pitching staff, which NY seems to have, win more often than not.
New York, unfortunately, don't only seem to be better but way better. Upsets in the WS happen, but the chance of an upset is still alive, win or lose. But losing against the Yankees would be very bad.
I like the Philly's Lee on the mound during crunch time.
As for tonight, Philly has to hit off of Sabathia, and not swing at his very clever and deceptive outside and low pitches. NY has to commit errors, and Philly has to successfully steal bases on top of this for a Philly victory to happen. Only a nearly flawless Philly game is what it will take to beat CC and the Yankees.
Though CC and company lost last time, the pitcher still did not have a shabby night. I don't suspect CC will falter since he didn't falter the last time outside of the two HRs against him. Otherwise, he was having the Yankees swing and miss everything.
