I have no problems with the website (www.me.com). The site is a little slow, but that makes sense considering the magnitude of stuff happening today. I want the software update for Mobile Me so I can sync my calendar with my iPhone. Just don't understand how/why some of us got the update, but many maybe even most of us didn't.

Possibly some people got it and then it was blocked because of on going problems. Because right now the whole syncing/pushing thing certainly is not doing what it should at all

The push system was working for a few minutes just a moment ago and now it's no longer working. Again. I'm sure they'll get this worked out soon.

When I contact MobileMe support earlier about 'push' they referred me to a help page about syncing with MobileMe and then disconnected the chat! It seemed they were unaware that push isn't working.

Can anyone get to their "account/settings" page on MM? Everything else works on there (painfully slow) except the "account" section.

I just logged into the account area for the first time. Granted I only tried one other time but it was slow and got hung up. For the moment it's running fairly fast though trying to change between each option is somewhat slow.

I'm having a peculiar problem; I can load me.com and log in, but in safari, I cannot click on anything! I can type in the url for the calender and that comes up fine, I can scroll, but I still cannot click. It works fine in Firefox. I tried it in safari 3.1, 4.0 dev preview, and webkit nightlies.

I've noticed it's 'automatically' syncing for me in exact 15 minute intervals, when I have it set for Automatic, not any specific time.

Did you just let it load? Mine was hanging for about 5 mins before I switched back to iDisk.

Exact same problem on Safari 3.1 and 4.0 DP on my PowerMac G5. Works fine on Safari 3.1 on my MacBook Pro...is this a Safari PPC glitch??

However...MobileMe sync is working beautifully across 3 Macs and my iPhone. I've been putting in fake appointments on my iPhone all day just to see them show up on my Macs. Been wanting my iPhone in the .mac sync loop since iPhone day #1 last year. Seamless, great to be untethered!

No, it loaded right away. I just went into it again and it's loading just fine still. However I am having issues with the calendar syncing properly. I put an event on the web calendar and it still has yet to appear on my iPhone. Also, I had a test email sent to me and it appeared on the web mail but it's not on my phone, yet the mail part worked just fine a few minutes ago. This is all pretty weird.

Im on a macbook, so I doubt that. It's annoying though, I don't want to use Firefox.

Wow... okay, I've been defending Apple all day... "all these people doing all these things at once are pushing back MobileMe's release, yadda yadda yadda"... but this is just retarded... I can use MobileMe on FireFox but not on Safari? Dear Christ on a stick.

I don't quite get what me.com does that mac.com didn't.

The biggest improvement is the ability to edit calendars online. I can finally have a real "family calendar" that I can update from work.

The next major difference is synching with outlook. My understanding is that it does with outlook what it does with iCal and Address Book.

Push email has been working great for me. I like it a lot better than having to "pull" my email. I'm starting to lean towards a subscription again.

I have been having quite a few hiccups with the web interface, though.

Grrrrr....

Software Update found a download for me and the damn thing crashed (first time ever).

Then I got the dreaded "Your software is up to date"

probably still a problem with it. I'm not showing anything. Even when I do see it, I may wait a day to install it.

For the record, these problems do not bother me, but I have never seen anything like this before from apple. I have faith it will be all good again soon though.

I have everything all set up. The two issues are Push and the speed of the web interface, which I think will be corrected in a couple days.

@marcre, I agree, never in my time of using Apple products have I seen such a bad deployment, but then again, no one is perfect. Apple was probably too caught up in the iPhone 3G.

2 words: PUSH & GORGEOUS

Though none of them seem to work. No push (as of now) and its much to slow for the new interface!

For me its working fabulously except the above 2 things. We'll give Apple some more time on this.

Is it just me or where is the Calendar items Alarm feature? Can you set an alarm on an event 15, 30 minutes before just like in iCal and the iPhone?

Did you uninstall Safari 4 with the bundled uninstall app? Thats what I had to do to get mine to work.
