I have a zillion friends who do "wedding photography on the side". It doesnt take much talent for that....if any at all.

Seriously, shut up with your nonsense. I'd love for you to do a wedding where you get one chance to capture perfect pictures, some in "one take" for someones special day.

I guess it depends on the types of wedding you visit and what you are used to. We in Europe see American wedding programs on TV with people getting married in places without windows and neon-lighting. In those kinds of situations a 2003 Canon Ixus and a friend with a finger and an eye would probably suffice.

You still owe us a definition of a "real" photographer. Back up your claim.

I checked out your site. Great shots in there. Very unique and not cliche like most wedding photographers.

+1

Apple would NEVER do anything as cheesy as releasing a GOLD iPhone!!!

That's like saying they'd release a laptop that looks like a toilet seat or an iMac covered in flowers!

I dont owe you anything. I can have my opinion and you can agree or disagree and move on....but please tell us more about how additional megapixels are the be all and end all when it comes to picture quality.

I dunno I thought the iPhone 5 was a good iPhone and I didn't think it was at all cheesy.

You first.

I never said that more MP increase picture quality. Exactly the opposite. Where did you get that?

Sure you can have your opinion. But stating that opinion on a public forum invites requests for explanation and backing up of your claims (you know how forums work right?). But I can see the issue of doing that in your case, so let's just call it a day.

Hhmm, let me see.....nope. You were the first to come out with a lot of rubbish, i however pulled you up on this, so i think you'll find you started that one.

The children obviously get up early to play on the internet....

8 megapixels...still? 3 years and no advancement in whats probably one of iPhones most used features?

Unless you plan on putting your iPhone pics on a huge wall poster then 8 megapixels is more than enough. The number of megapixels means almost squat when considering what most phone pics are used for. It's just a way to sell phones and cameras and for consumers to "one up" their friends. Don't get hung up on it.

Ugly gold in the render

The rendering of that golden iPhone 5S is ugly. The shade of gold Apple will be (most likely) using is much more sophisticated lighter golden, almost like metallic beige.

See this iPhone 5S spare parts page for reference.

There's also similar iPhone 5C spare parts page which reveals the colors of the 5C.

You know that the lens has more to do with clarity than mp and you are never going to
Get much better pictures unless you increase the lens size... Like the Nokia. Then you need a cover... Then each photo takes massive MBs like the Nokia. It's a trade off.

Everyone knows a wedding photographer isnt a real photographer.
You seem pretty clueless about the photography world.

Not just the lens size but the sensor size as well. You can't cram that many MP's into a small sensor and expect decent results. Just look at what Nikon & Canon does. They keep increasing MP's on their DSLR's but not touching the sensor size. The result is that the pictures are the same as 3 year old ones, but they take 3 times as much space. If you want truly higher resolution, you need to go medium format and use sensors much larger than the 16X24 used in most DSLR's.

I'm glad they're making the Apple logo and "iPhone" text much larger on the 5S. In the past, Apple's branding has been much too subtle on some of the iDevices. It is very important that everyone knows I am using an iPhone and not some Samsung copy device!

Jony, please make the Apple logo larger still. And make it glowing if possible!!

Please don't. I don't want to walk around advertising for Apple with a glowing logo. The design is easily recognisable I think.

I know what you said. IF it wasn't clear I was responding to the ramrod24's posts getting worked up over a rumor. I wasn't even being serious when I originally said it but the truth is I actually don't think much of wedding photography in general but nice way to get people to look at your wedding photos in a post about iPhones.

I can only hope this is completely false. A gold iPhone is simply ridiculous and I can't see there being a big market for it aside from those few people that think it'll be extra cool because nobody else has it.

So many of you have no faith in Sir Jony. Do you really think he is going to make a kitsch, tacky product for Apple? If this gold rumor is true, Jony Ive will pull it off flawlessly, as him and his team have always done in the past. Have a little faith that Jony Ive knows what he's doing.

So what? Did we sin because we don't pray to your Jony-god?
He already messed up the iPhone 5 coating, so I don't expect anything from him.

Oh, but you wouldn't just be advertising Apple. You're advertising you. Using an iDevice (with a large enough Apple logo) shows you to be a gentleman of good taste and character.

You guys are all already justifying why Apple will release the next iPhone that only keeps up to competitors. Don't you think Apple needs to overtake them again?!

Why don't build a phone with 12MP camera with better quality and better low light technics?
Because Apple doesn't want to decrease their profit margins! It is already proven that most single parts of the iPhone are easily worth 5-10$!
You can't tell me their is no battery or a camera that costs 20$ -.-

I will just stick with my 4S

I didn't think he messed up the iPhone 5 coating. On my black phone the coating is still in tact. My white iPhone is still beautiful as well.

Lets hope this insane rumours that are running ultimately all are fake :C coz i will be really sad and i will start to look for another phone, im getting pissed with all this :C

There's very little convergence on the rumours this year. Compared with e.g. the iPhone 5, most of it looks like wild guessing/obvious evolution, with few if any real hardware images leaking out.

My guess is that they're really focused on something interesting on the software front,
possibly a better integrated gaming/home entertainment system. That would mean hardware features aren't the real story.
