Bring on the BlueRay. I have been waiting for Apple to add BlueRay for over a year.
Then look for "Blu-ray Disc" (BD). Spelling it correctly might help your searches

That is true they charge you a 10% restocking fee though...
What if it is opened? Just curious!
man I hope they change the design. it's boring

The 10% applies to if it's opened. If it isn't, then there is no restocking fee.
And the time period is 14 days.
(When I wanted to trade in my opened iPhone to 16GB at the Apple store, they said they'd waive the restocking fee, so you might get lucky)
What is taking Apple so long to integrate Blu-Ray across it's line?! For a company with computers focused on media, this is unacceptable in my book -- at least make it a BTO option!!!
OK exciting news, BUT.. What would you guys feel if Apple comes up with Montevina MBP three months later (in June)?? Gosh this whole thing is driving me nuts :-(
I don't care what features they add, I don't care what features they remove, I don't care how much it costs, I just want a MacBook Pro! And I want a new one!
They always replace with brand new computers.
Lets get update the whole laptop line up
MacBook can get the new look(like the iMac), and MacBook Pro can get a nice spec update
Could this be the end of Apple's White Products? The very thing that made them stand out?
We'd originally published a story suggesting that MacBook Pros would see updates this Tuesday. Since that time, we've received conflicting reports as to what exactly is being delivered to Apple stores this coming week. Based on product cycles, the safe bet is the MacBook Pro, with 264 days since the last update. That, however, has not stopped Apple from introducing a slew of other products over the past few weeks (iPod Shuffle updates, Aperture 2.0, 16GB iPhone, 32GB iPod Touch)
Sources reveal that shipments of new Apple products (not just Time Capsule) are planned for midweek. Historically, such information tends to reliably predict new product releases. But we can't be confident these necessarily represent new MacBook Pros, or another unexpected announcement (such as premature MacBook or iMac updates).
Previous tidbits of information surrounding the new MacBook Pros have indicated that they will incorporate Penryn processors, an LED screen in the 17" model, and the new-and-improved multi-touch trackpad found in the MacBook Air.
I went to my local Apple Store and talked with one of the more "knowledgeable" Apple guy. He seemed pretty confident in advising me against buying a MBP right away. Furthermore he said Penryn updates are sure to come and even a major redesign (he himself wanted this to happen but was not 100% sure about this happening) He said he has a powerbook and was waiting for a major upgrade before he got a MBP. He went on to add that he would still wait for a redesign since the Powerbook looks similar to the MBP. So he would still hold on till a redesign. I asked him what time frame are we looking at for the "major redesign". He said he ain't sure but hopes it happens by June. While talking about penryn one interesting thing he said - "I thought the new ones would be in this morning but I guess we have to wait until Tuesday" - this was what was the proving point for me...
About the redesign thing he referred to the new black keyboard for the MBP (which I personally don't like)
My Conclusion: It won't be a major redesign but a Penryn n multitouch update.
Hello....I just bought a MBP 15 days ago. Its still in its original box unopened. I 'm waiting to see if an upgrade will happen this Tuesday. If not , I will finally open it. If so...I might end up exchanging it for the new one, depends on the upgrade of course. I knowhas 14 days return policy ..I wonder if that applies for unopened product as well...Does anyone know??????

I think we need a MacBook Pro release anticipation theme song.
Are you saying bought a MBP 2 weeks ago and haven't opened it?
Yes.......the night I bought it...I ran into this website(mac rumors) and found out that an upgraded MBP is soon to be release. I was tempted to return it but scared that I might not like the new MBP.
...by the way I'm a mac switcherI played with my friend MBP and fell in love with it. Been a mac guy ever since (4 months ago)
