How about the touching song "Falling Slowly" which just won an Oscar?

I don't know you
But I want you
All the more for that
Words fall through me
And always fool me
And I can't react
And games that never amount
To more than they're meant
Will play themselves out

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
You've made it now

Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me
And I'm painted black
You have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It's time that you won

12 inch MBP!

500 Gigs, 2.3 GHz, 4 Gig RAM, Firewire, 3 USBs, 4.2 pounds but fat as a hog at 1" thick...who would want such a chubette?

So your guess is that Apple is going to ship an SDK next week?? LOL, do you know what an SDK is by chance??? Not exactly something that will be sold in Apple stores lol

Who says it's got to be something sold in Apple stores? I don't see why it wouldn't be the SDK, the timing is right. And if Apple does announce a new product that can be sold in stores, it doesn't mean they can't release the SDK as well. My vote is still for the SDK, and yes I know what an SDK is.

Haha! The part of that song about the sinking boat reminds me of Gil Amelio's saying about Steve Jobs:
"Apple is like a ship with holes in the bottom leaking water. My job is to get that ship pointed in the right direction."

Here's my vote for the theme song! :D

Oh YES!
THAT is TEH song!

Sales must be getting hammered..

Mr Steven,

I am looking for a reason to change back to you guys since the days of the old lc2 and RISC processors, but you arn't making it easy!

In NZ you are charging top dollar for dated hardware (maybe 30% more than the asus's, dells, and even sony's).

I have been in the MS world for since the '98 days, make the decision easy for me and bring good news for the people this tuesday!!

My conservative wish list for the MBP (17") update:

-Option of the 2.8 X9000 Penryn processor
-Option of 320 GB drive
-Multitouch trackpad
-Same case design and keyboard as current MBP
-LED backlight for 17" model

and what i would like to see in the update:
  1. price competitivness
  2. GPU update (to justify price).
  3. Ram prices are crazy high but at least we can purchase that elsewhere

Love the design of the current MBP though...

I Hope So!

I've been hoping for the new processors for some time now! If they also added the new trackpad that would be awesome! I want a laptop so bad, but I want to wait a bit until they came out with a few more improvements.

Something tells me that this week's theme song may turn out to be "I can't get no satisfaction" but I hope I'm wrong...

Other way around. That quote was by Gil Amelio about himself, Jobs just repeated it to get some laughs.

Ah! Thanks!
Just reading that part of the article, it's not really apparent who's talking about who.
And, back on topic...
I suspect more new products may be coming out this Tuesday from our pally pals at the Cupertino based firm. I wonder what they will be?
Probably the :apple:tv Tray, complete with heat emission to keep your food warm and touch interface which allows you to "Touch your programs" and "Touch your movies". Maybe also "Touch your volume" if we're lucky.

Mac Mini Air?

Maybe a Mac Mini update? Imagine something the size of the :apple:TV, with Santa Rosa in it, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD, Super Drive, and priced $499.

New Mac Mini Air. Thinner. Faster. Cheaper.

(yes, I'm probably dreaming)
