Oh Wow, you're right... Good thinking! That just got my hopes way up, haha. BUT that's if it goes to Verizon, if it will even exist at all.
Battery life already sucks as it is. Can you see using video chat and video editing with the battery in its current form?
Unless they did something to improve battery life I have no desire for the next iPhone.

I doubt that Apple would go through all the effort of going to a new network. There's the hardware aspect and I'm sure there'd be a fair bit of programming involved. But you never know, this is Apple. They've always got the answer to the question nobody has asked (i.e. the G4 Cube, MBA, etc).

That's the voice recorder. It's an image of a microphone. I sure hope Apple's actual icon is more professional than that. Apple has already said that they are adding a voice recorder. It says that on the Apple website.

LAST COMMENT: maybe it actually is spelled iPhone Light?? And just like the air advertisement they won't capitalize light until WWDC? What do you think? light makes more sense anyways....

Weren't those top and bottom pictures made by a member of Macrumors to prove that you could easily photoshop a picture onto the screen?
it is funny to me that people are more interested in the the look of the Iphone then what it can do. I am planing on getting one as soon as it comes out because what it can do. I am also getting it because of how good of touchscreen it is compared to other touchscreen phones.
It is humorous that people seem to think there is a lot to change aesthetically. When you have a phone that is pretty much all screen there isn't really much you can do with it. The iPhone has been sexy since day 1, so what is there to complain about?
I'm more interested in it being able to do more. I have really come to rely on my iPhone and use it as tool in my day-to-day life. More processing power and video capabilities are what matter to me, not whether is look like the current gen or not.
