How to make (produce) this kind of multimedia video? Made with a Mac? Which application? Thanks.

Does anyone else want to chime in on competition being good?

I'd like to add that the cloudless daytime sky is blue.

I don't like the insult of calling any tablet just a giant XXX phone. Cause really what is the difference between iOS and Android tablets. Their both, if you really want to think of it that way, a giant phone. Almost identical software, usually same apps, but a bigger screen. But really that argument doesn't work against the iPad or Android tablets.

Actually the Android tablet situation is quite literally just a big smart phone where as that logic does not hold true to the iPad at all.

Sounds like you should do a little homework!

Big iPhone. What's the problem?

I still don't understand why people constantly complain that they feel the iPad is just a big iPhone or iPod. Both devices are awesome. Both devices are more enjoyable to interface with than most computers, especially PC's. What is the problem with having a bigger version of something that is awesome? Never mind that the iPad has begun to take valid steps away from being merely a big iPod or iPhone with software that is only available on it and options only accurately achieved on the bigger screen.

It is as if people are looking for a reason to complain about something that either 1) they can't afford, 2) don't want to admit they like, or 3) have the need to always complain about Apple products and to hear their own voices. I don't understand people that intentionally try to stir a pot that doesn't question the larger morality of an issue. "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is a pot that needed to get stirred. Why does the "iPad = large iPod/iPhone" pot need stirring?

Wouldn't mind to have an ipad holder that plugs into my car outlet.

Have Tom Tom or Navigon running and provide hands free talking. At least one could see what is doing and it makes things a little safer:)

With facetime you can even show somebody what is going on in your car.

accident live, Mom and Dad can check on the youngens? etc.ect.

To me at least, it's the "just" part of it that irks me. It's not just a big iPhone or iPod touch. There are other features of it that are unique to it that you don't get on just an iPhone or iPod touch.

Maybe cool, but still from Motorola. I won't bother....

wow, from the company that brought you the RAZR, and the StarTac, you're gonna crap on the company.

Motorola, believe it or not, makes durable phones, with great call quality. Couple that with all their patents, its not a bad company at all. I've actually put stock on Motorola/NVIDIA.

The problem is, we see the teaser is cool, but who knows if the tablet is really cool or not yet? Guess we'll know in a couple weeks when it's introduced.

But they have to be worried... Microsoft is launching their tablet too! :p

They could come out with a better tablet but nobody would buy it because they'd still think iPad is better. It's called fanboyism.

Yes android phones are a compelling product that is almost an equal to the iPhone. Minus the polish.

I'd give the iPhone a 92 and a great android phone an 85. It's that close now.

I said nothing about phones, so I'm not sure why you directed that at my comment.

Based on my experience with Motorola phones I would never want to go near any slate/tablet product made by Motorola. Worst OS ever on their devices.

Its a teaser for CES2011. We'll hear more at CES and can scrutinise it then! :p
Even then, I doubt we'll know much. They'll show it there (much like Balmer and the HP Slate), but most likely we won't know anything at all (really) about it.

This is just a desperate attempt at Motorola to keep a few people on the fence for iPad or Galaxy Tab before the holidays. They know that millions of tablets will be bought this Christmas season and they're simply desperate to stop any buying.

Funny.

I'm curious if anyone here can tell me what the iPad is good for? I mean, where does it fit in? It lacks the hardware to be a "computer" and it isn't a phone.

Besides email, internet and media - what's it good for? If you have an iPhone an iPad is rather redundant. If you have a notebook, an iPad is useless.

If anyone can answer that I would really love to hear it. I have yet to find a useful purpose for an iPad other than being a bigger iPhone that doesn't make calls.

I think the problem is, the iPad should have an OS on it and NOT iOS. That's the biggest downfall. it just falls short.

uh, you mean Android? Most Motorola devices are running on Android 2.1 and up, fyi.

Are you from the American south?

iPad + Galaxy are like 95% of the tablet market, and Motorola think he can win both of them ... come on

Lets see what CES2011 brings ...

You mean like when Steve Jobs bashed at Android every chance he got?

Yeah, just like Steve Jobs. Just like him being the head of a company that actually had a shipping product out for several months at that point and had thus far blown away everyone's expectations on just about every market metric from user experience to sales while the competition were still trying to get some semblance of a game plan together just to respond.

So yeah, you're right. It's exactly the same.

See, it's one thing to make a flashy, eye-catching marketing video (see Microsoft Courier for a textbook example) but another thing entirely to put a real product on the shelves and let the consumers decide with their wallets.
