My iPhone 4S has shipped!!

Finally Updated! Now time to start tracking flights just like when I was watching my iPad2 fly to me! This will certainly make the waiting harder. ;)

I ordered through apple.com. I tried the ups thing and it does not work for me.

Did you complete the order at 8am or get a reservation? I had a reservation at 5:17am eastern but didn't complete the order until later that day and my shipping info was available on the UPS site late Sunday, early Monday.

I didn't receive my shipping confirmation from Apple until about the same time it arrived in AK.
 
Orders from AT&T

Is anyone that ordered via AT&T seeing shipping progress yet? I know there was one guy ealier in the thread but that's it...one. And he ordered amoung the first folks. I ordered via the AT&T store and they gave me a 14-21 day shipping estimate. I would like to believe that they are just being safe with the estimate but not seeing anyone else that ordered via AT&T have any luck is not promising. Well...we do still have two days..maybe it's just going to be any overnight shipment from a US based warehouse.:)
 
Mine (64GB White) is now showing up in the UPS System. Apple still doesn't show it shipped.

Ugh, I ordered my 64gb black at 5:45 am CST on 10/7, and my order is still at Preparing for Shipment. I hope that adding AppleCare+ on 10/9 didn't slow down the process. The status still shows delivery by the 14th, but it would be kind of nice to get it a day or two early, ya know, just because...

I love this whole shipment tracking party. :) Looking forward to hearing the opinions of the early arrivals.
 
Got an update about 45 seconds ago:

So I assume that would be UPS flight 5X59 taking off. FlightAware is still showing nothing for that flight.

Apple will be shipping a majority of iPhones to stores and customers from these warehouses. I expect we'll see a lot of updates on Wed.

Thanks for the update.

It's feasible (if (BIG IF) Apple doesn't hold the shipment) that these could be delivered tomorrow. I won't get my hopes up but logistically for UPS it's possible.
 
My Tracking info says it was shipped using UPS Worldwide Express which touts these benefits:

Delivery Commitment Export:

* Delivery by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon
* Delivery by the next business day to Canada and for documents to Mexico
* Second business day delivery to Europe and Latin America
* Delivery within two or three business days to Asia


Import:

* Delivery by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon
* Next business day delivery from Canada and Mexico
* One or two business day delivery from Europe, Asia, and Latin America


I hope it gets delivered that early!!!

Did you get shipping notification through Apple or through the "Track by reference" trick? If you used "track by reference" which phone number did you use (Verizon account or Apple ID)?

It has been said a number of ***** times. The phone number associated with the billing.

Well, it's certainly possible. The front page reports a few German customers received theirs today.
