Strange, that was listed in the release notes when I got the Facebook update (minutes after it was released, as well as later on on another iPhone).
Still doesn't show on any of my iDevices on iOS 6 or iTunes 11.0.5.5

I never said I could repeat it. It just happens throughout the day.
That's where Facebook took advantage on all the suckers on iOS 7, ver 6.8 for iOS now has full Video Ads enabled. For those who had "auto updates" enabled couldn't avoid it and for those who use manual update still got fooled to hit the update button.

Bug fixes
You said "I've tried and same thing happens on my friends iPhone 5." - tried what?
You had your friends phone for a day and it crashed throughout it? What was your friend doing while you "tried" this?
My iPhone 5 hasn't crashed in months, let alone throughout the day, so pardon me for being sceptical.
----------
You've inserted the word "ads". What the article and the Facebook update actually refer to is user submitted videos, not "video ads".
So IOS 7 users with auto update enabled simply got "suckered" into having a nice new feature![]()
OK, come on now, you keep on being skeptical of other people having issues with crashes in iOS 7, while you completely seriously talked about having various kinds of stability and functionality issues with iOS 6 that clearly many (if not the vast majority) never came across at all. You certainly believe that others should have no problems believing you about your iOS 6 issues--since after all they are things you truly experienced, even if others didn't--yet you are always skeptical about people having different issues with iOS 6. The concept of hypocrisy seems to be floating right at the surface. You said "I've tried and same thing happens on my friends iPhone 5." - tried what?

Seriously, maybe I should make a video for you - there is no chance in hell that your 4S is faster than my 5 running IOS 7. For the everyday tasks you mention, my phone is instant. There is no waiting. No room for improvement.
More to the point, I used to have a 4S running 6 and I know perfectly well it wasn't faster - faster than a 4S running 7 perhaps, but not a 5.

"Autoplay Video Ads and Tap for sound"
YouTube: video
Hahahahahahaha ok broAnyway Iphone 4s with iOS 6 is faster then Iphone 5 with iOS 7 in normal daily use. I've compared it, and yes, please make a video! Enter settings, phone, and messages! Make sure you run no apps in background, and you'll see!
Thanks
Yeah, and you still inserted the word "ads" into your description of the app update. The app description and accompanying article you posted referred to video only. And in fact the only difference there is that videos in your timeline play (silently) automatically rather than just sit there.
The YouTube link you just posted to cover yourself is a speculative piece from months ago which contains absolutely no information about how these supposed unannounced video ads are going to work, in the app or anywhere else.
And one last thing - imagine what you've said was true - what do you suppose you achieve by not updating anyway? Do you honestly think your out of date app will just carry on working with Facebook perfectly without them either cutting it off, or finding a way to make it play the ads anyway?
----------
Why would I make sure I run no apps in background? I run a ton of apps in the background and it changes nothing, messages opens instantly, settings opens instantly. If I close them down and then try.. They open instantly. I have no idea what's wrong with the 5 you were testing.
Please create a video for me!
The 5 with iOS 7 has issues too. You can choose to ignore or deny it, but it won't change that fact for those that have various issues with a 5 running iOS 7 that they didn't have in iOS 6. Again, you can "question" or "doubt" or do whatever it is that you might want to do, but it doesn't change reality.I realise that the news of IOS 6 having any issues at all is a bombshell for you, but just google it. Google IOS 6 wifi problem, IOS 6 kernel panic, just browse back through the IOS 6 forum here, you will soon find that the issues are not unicorn's teeth you think them to be. For that matter you'll find plenty of bug reports with IOS 5 too, and 4, and so on. IOS 7 did not invent the crash.
I've had four iPhone models since 2008 running every IOS since 2.0; none of them have been perfect. Most have been pretty damn good, but none perfect. And I've been very aware of problems others have experienced with each iteration too, even where they didn't affect me personally.
For these reasons as much as anything, I can easily believe people are having issues with IOS 7, but the overwhelming majority of reports I've seen have been with the 5S (a 64 bit device) not the 5. The poster I was replying to is another disgruntled 5S owner, who then went on to say the 5 they "tried" did the same thing - I find that questionable when they can't describe the circumstances.

And, once again, nice job selling your iOS 6 issues as facts, in the face of most not having them, while questioning the same kinds of things when it comes to iOS 7 in the same breath. You might ignore or pretend to ignore the hypocrisy there, but rest assured it's all drenched in it.
At this point there's no reason to beat a dead horse anymore, since whether or not you actually "buy" it or have some personal opinions about it is still completely inconsequential.
Well, actually someone is trying to say that there are no issues or ISSUES (although for some people there are definitely ISSUES, just like there were some like that for some with iOS 6).I agree there are issues and nobody is saying there aren't issues. There are issues and ISSUES.
From what I've seen in real life, what is being said on this forum is the worst of the worst. And not representative of the real world.
There is no hypocrisy nor do I believe Apple has nothing to fix in IOS 7. Now that I am used to IOS 7 I prefer it over IOS 6. Apple knows what it needs to do, which is why there is an IOS 7.1.

And even if there are just issues (and not ISSUES), there's is still something to fix.
Please create a video for me!
I made one!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVlPu4xsAmw (apologies for the quality, dim light and a ropey non-Apple camera)
It just shows me going through a few standard things on my phone, you'll see at one point I close the settings and messages apps down in the background and then reopen them.. to me it all seems instant, certainly instant enough. You may be able to show me a video of your 4S shaving a millisecond off something but honestly I'm not sure I care!
For the record the phone I'm using hasn't just been wiped or anything, it's my i5 64GB full of apps and music which you can see in the video, there's a lot of data on the phone that can be traced right back to my first iphone via five years worth of backups and restores...
And look CDM, it managed not to crash!
Again, your video doesn't prove a thing! There is no Iphone 4s to compare with, and you are just randomly going through your apps. Also you are not entering your messages and contacts instantly, and when my girl get back in few with 4s running iOS 6 I will made a video for you! Please don't talk if you don't have a clue.
Thanks
Why on earth do you accept mediocrity? Why is it ok to release a new and supposedly improved operating system which is slower, has more bugs and drains the battery faster?
Wait a minute - you're the one who came in here claiming you had both phones side by side - so where was your video showing this yesterday? You're the one making the very bold claim here - that a 4S running IOS 6 is faster than an up to date iPhone 5 - so why does it seem to be up to me to prove otherwise?
I never said I had a 4S for comparison here - my wife has a 4S but it's on 7. I've had a 4S running 6 in the past though, and I know your claim is wildly exaggerated if not complete BS.
My video shows me opening random apps - it also shows me closing the settings and messages apps in the background and then instantly (yes instantly) entering them again. What more are you expecting to see? Are you taking about actually entering new contact info? If so just add the half a millisecond it takes for the keyboard to scroll up after I press the + button.
Sorry you didn't like my video - but I'm certainly looking forward to yours![]()
What type of argument is that? If Apple held off on releasing iOS 7 until it was as polished as the final version of 6 you wouldn't have seen an iPhone 5S or iOS 7 until next year.
----------
What most people don't seem to understand is that Apple in such a short time frame put out a brand new iOS version. They didnt just add Apple maps and call it iOS 6. A lot of the core framework was reworked. With that being said I can wait for patches to make it smoother/faster.
----------
So you're not giving Apple any credit at all for releasing a new version of iOS in such a short time frame without a disasterous outcome?
I guess I'm more understanding because I work in the software industry as well.
