That's the 38mm...it looks sooo much bigger in a photo. It's actually quite small.

See what i mean Elizabeth? No one believes that they are so much smaller in person. It may look big in the photo's on your wrist but it's actually a perfect size in real life.

Here's the 42mm on my wrist, sorry, ugly photo...

The photo of the watch on your wrist is the best advertisement I've yet seen for the watch. Something about seeing it in a non-professional real world setting totally sold me (not that I was on the fence--this just made it even more clear that I'm getting it on day one).

Thanks so much!

Thank you. I'm glad i could help :)

so it appears the space gray sport is a DARK grey....

if the colors are coming through true on my monitor.... i'm gonna love it!

still undecided between the two sizes!

thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm really thinking this may not be too big....

i'm really afraid that the 38 will seem small and light after wearing my reactor....

decisions... decisions.....

Thanks for posting this!

My wrists are also 175mm and I've been torn between the 38 and 42. Definitely going for the 42 after seeing your pics.

I was just at the Doncaster store in Melbourne and got to try one a few apple watches.

Here are some things you might want to know if you won't get a chance to try one on before you purchase:

Size:

The 38mm is VERY SMALL. Now I myself have a very small wrist so I decided to try on the 38 first and while its a nice size, i feel that it looks like it was made for a woman's wrist than a male's.
The 42mm is just perfect. I don't know what it is about seeing it online but they seem huge in photos. It's definitely not as big as it looks on some sites.

Bands:

I was torn between the Milanese loop and SS Link bracelet. Both of these look just AMAZING in person. The deciding factor for me is the price and comfort of these bands. The Milanese loop is the most comfortable watchband i have ever worn. Someone should make underwear out of this stuff ;) It just fits perfectly around your wrist no matter the shape or size and it looks classy as hell.
In a perfect world, i would own both but $1049 versus $1479 is a no brainer for me.

Quality:

I cannot stress how good the quality of this watch feels, from the sports model to the stainless steel. It just feels like you are wearing a watch. Not a smartwatch. Even the weight of the stainless steel feels like my breightling. I didn't even bother asking to see the Edition watch for obvious reasons but it did look pretty nice. Not $14000 nice. But nice.

So for me it's the 42mm stainless with the milanese loop (Even with my girly wrists :D)

For those who have been asking: My wrist is around 175mm in circumference and around 65mm from the top of my wrist to the bottom ( where the watch actually sits).

Does the Milanese band stay tight or does it loosen up?

I asked several people on Instagram who tried on the Apple Watch what their wrist size was and if they felt 38mm or 42mm fit better and they mostly said that 38mm was small and 42mm fit great (even for those with small wrists).

Thanks for the pics. Agreed it's too big on your wrist. The 38mm will be perfect for you.

What was your wrist size again? Mine is a little bigger than 155mm.

Maybe so, but every picture posted so far makes the 43 look huge on small wrists.

I always thought the Milanese looked best, but these photos make it look even better than I thought. They did a nice job. I still don't really see the use for the watch though :)

My wrist size is 190mm. So I'm going for the 42mm. My wife's is ~128mm-130mm, so she simply HAS to get the 38mm.

i think huge is really subjective with watches..... especially if you are used to wearing smaller and thinner watches.... i'm used to a larger and weightier watch even though i have a small wrist...

My wrist is 155mm. 42mm won't be too big?

It will look huge and tasteless, imo.
Traditional men watches come in 35-40 sizes. I have ~180 wrist and i don't own any watch over 40.
Buy the 38, it will look better on your wrist and it will fill more comfortable when you wear a jacket or a long sleeve shirt. ;)
