hopefully we see watchOS 2.0.1 this week that fixes the issue!
This is borderline unacceptable that native apps don't launch, how did this ship?
I agree it's a complete shame such a major bug slipped through
While I'm a fan of Tim Cook and his team...this is really sloppy.... I'm not sure Jobs would have let this release. It slipped though after a delay on top of it. I really hoped pairing it to my new iPhone would fix it and nope nothing.

Any chance everyone here was running the GM from last week? I'm having the same issue here and none of the fixes posted thus far have worked. Had this issue last week with the Weather Channel native app while running the GM. Didn't think much of it, and even wondered if this was "the bug" Apple was fixing.
Really don't want to restore the Watch and I'm holding out for other ideas. All of my non-native apps work fine.
Gm stands for golden master aka the latest "beta" release of An iOS update but usually the gm is actually the final release so many of us installed the gm.Sorry for my lack of knowledge, what's GM?

I'm so disappointed again. Last week, everything worked fine for me. After I restored my iPhone 5S and Apple Watch, all native apps worked finally. Now that my dad got the 6S, I have his iPhone 6 and long story short: I have everything restored to my new phone and native apps aren't working AGAIN! Already reseted the new phone again but nothing changed.
This really freaks me out right now! I was fine after it worked in the first place - now it's all messed up once again.
It really is a shame for Apple, can't remember seeing something like this ever.
Especially because I use a lot of my apps frequently, but now, whenever they get a watchOS 2 update, they become unusable.
I don't think they will call me here in Belgium, the Watch isn't even officially available here, haha!Just a reminder for everyone with the issue to go in Apple support and ask to speak with a senior advisor to submit the radar straight to engineering! It's kind of a cool experience when you get a phone call that says "Hi, I'm *name* calling from Apple Engineering..."
Apple released an Xcode update today with app thinning fixes. I suspect this is related to the trouble in this thread, but not sure if this means apps need to be updated before they are fixed or not.
Getting annoyed now, I literally can't believe that wOS2 was released like this. I feel like my perfect watch has taken a step backwards as I can't use the apps I used to use daily before it was updated. Hoping for a fix this week?
DownloadingGuys iOS 9.0.2 is out, installing as we speak hopefully it fixes this horrible bug?
