I have 4 native apps on my Watch and everything is working great. Very fast.

Not sure what I'm doing differently to others, but hope you get it sorted!

I have two native apps - Dark Sky and PCalc. Both work just fine on the watch. No beta OS installed on either watch or phone.

Maybe if we all go to support and complain? That way Apple knows people are having issues. Either that or get some famous Apple commentator (Gruber, Marco, etc) to write about it...

I'm late to the party and still wondering if I should attempt this update yet. It seems more risky than a software update should

I have one native app, Dark Sky, it loads but says cannot determine location, so its worthless now, worked fine on 2.0 GM before they updated it to native.

It would be good if we could group together and submit it as an official bug so it gets noticed. We never know if this was the reason for the WatchOS2 delay, and that it simply wasn't actually fixed.

when you say 'user error' I guess you dont mean my 'crash' as how else can I read an email?

What i mean is, it a bit scary to think Apple could blow it like this. Makes me think there's something in the procedure

a friend of mine told he have been trying to solve this issue for a whole day, and it seems the only solution to this is to do a full restore of the iPhone.

Therefore, I am trying to restore my iPhone and see what happens, will report if it works well.

What are some good native apps on the watch?
I noticed that the American Airlines is native but I don't have any upcoming trips.

you can restore your phone and still maintain the activity app with your completed workouts and rings
just have to do a encrypt backup through iTunes and restore from that backup

Restoring from a backup is not a clean installation! XD

I fixed this by first disabling location for Dark Sky on iPhone then re-enabling it, then removing Dark Sky glance and replacing it!

Can anyone confirm that darksky will work when the phone is not connected via bluetooth? Make sure it can get location and launch please.

I'm having this same issue. Tried restarting iPhone and watch, re-pairing watch to iPhone and toggling location services off / on, none of which helped. Super frustrating..

Any other ideas?

Some people are attempting a restore of their phone I think and will report back. Seems more like a watch OS issue but if they report that a restore fixes it then great.

I have been trying a lot of ideas and I FINALLY GET IT!:
- Doing a iphone backup with encryption of data on itunes.
- Delete content of iphone.
- Restore from a backup.
- All native apps are working fine!

I have no lost health or activity rings. I have all data and all native apps are working properly!

I'm happy! :)

That's not a solution, restoring the iPhone is such a hassle and not a solution here.
