What’s your max price for Apple TVAppleTV+ is actually starting to get pretty good!
Don’t care too.Netflix is the new Blockbuster. Except with worse content.
Change my mind.
Reminder - you don't like ads? Pay $9.99. You are not forced to sign up for this plan.
Ready for the "ads suck. Netflix sucks. bla bla bla".
Just pay $10 and no ads.
1080p is in the Standard plan for $15.49. Not sure where you got $3 more...?WTF.
So for +3$/m you get : no ads, 1080p, offline viewing, all the content.
If 3$/m does make a difference in your wallet, please don’t pay Netflix and just torrent your stuff.
For those who are a fan of ads. Like those who paid for Superbowl and watch its ads. You’re going to pay only $3 less and subject yourself to ads? Who is this for?
Ditching TV saves time. Ditching paid TV saves time and money. In the current economic climate with inflation a continuing pressure on many households, a lot of people are struggling to make ends meet -- and a few bucks saved here or there can help. And I know a lot would say that Netflix (and other similar services) are luxuries that can be sacrificed, but TV is central to many households' lives and Netflix is the biggest name in that mix. So I am glad they are making additional options available to those for whom those $3 make even a small difference. Don't know what it will me for their subscriber trend and how big that group is. But I am in no way harmed by them doing this and some people benefit.
I remember the first time a non-government television channel went on-air in the developing country that I came from. It was a paid television (encrypted over the air requiring a set-top box to decode) and had advertisements. Being the only "other" television channel, people were eager to subscribe to it.OTA TV, which has been a thing since Babe Ruth was playing baseball, uses ads to pay the bills and doesn't charge the viewer a dime.
Netflix got this wrong.
Yes. It's called "goggles".Will ad blockers work on Netflix? If so, I can't wait for the savings
The cost?In the UK we have Channel 4, Channel 5 and UKTV. The only options are to watch with ads.
The cost? Zero.
Can’t sites detect those? Sometimes they ask you to turn them off. Netflix could do the same.Yes. It's called "goggles".
