New clues that may point to Macbook pros refresh

I went through Apple Finance last week to get a MBP..
Turns out the finance co didnt get my faxed contract. So I call Apple this afternoon and he goes still send through your documents, but he will cancel my order... Basically told him i want to wait until March.

What will happen now? Wont the finance people send a certain $$ amount to Apple (the spec'd MBP total $) - But then they wont have an order for me.. Will I just be in credit?

Well, the last time we only faced a chipset upgrade. Some new processors added to the line.

This time we're expecting major updates, besides the Sandy Bridge processors there possibly is a new design and some new specs like Light Peak or USB 3.0. Major changes are usually announced through a media-event...
 
The swedish Apple online store still ships within 24h on all MBP models... then again I doubt the market of MBP here is very fast moving. As some pointed out, it might have something to do with the keyboard config.

The waiting is killing me. It's not that I think the current models are bad, but my beef is that I refuse to pay the same price for a year old computer, when I can get a newer model with better performance. But the wait, oh lord the wait... THE WAIT!
 
Brief DSGi update for currys and pcworld dixons etc:

13" models back in stock with roughly 250 units per model.
15" AND 17" out of stock.
 
It's killing me as well.... and when there is no news... my day just dies...

My world just stops.. or at least my productivity won't be fullest till I get my MBP... sad but true...
 
There were some downtime on the european apple store sites earlier today, but now they are up again. As far as I can see, there were no updates. :/ I had a small hope that it was the new MBP.

All Apple Online Stores will go down when products are getting an update. When only some stores are down, it's most likely maintenance.

Outside?? I have read about it. The graphics are amazing out there.:eek:

Were you serious about the cloud, cuz if their was a rainbow in the origional apple colors it could be a sign (jk)

Okay everyone let's all just try to not speculate anymore.......... Wait, today is 2/17/11 And Steve jobs was born on 2/24/55 and the Mbp needs updating so there are three sizes of MacBook pros so if 24-17+3 is 4 and four days from now is a Monday night, so we will have the news next Monday. Yay

Okay everyone let's all just try to not speculate anymore......... and let Jdstew1234 speculate. :cool:

Wow, new processor with much better architecture + new chipset is *only* a minor update :eek:

Light Peak? Forget about it. You may have to thank Apple if they give you an extra USB 2.0 port! USB 3.0 may be possible, if I won't expect it.
 
Guys, I know you wont believe me but I am from the future.

I travelled back for some investment opportunities but I might as well log on and let you guys know while I am here.

The MacBook refresh happened February 22nd, 2011 (I am from 2038) and there was no Light Peak but there was an extra USB port... other than that and SB, everything stayed the same.

By the way in 2038 we have interactive holographic touch displays where you manipulate the air and the 3D holograms are interactive.

Also the Lakers had a quad-peat before finally losing to Miami in 2013 who had Lebron, Wade, Carmelo, Chris Paul, and Dwight Howard...

So yeah have fun guys, dont want to say too much so I don't mess up the time space continuum and uncreate myself, or worse, make out with my own mom or something.

Oh when I was in 1990 some guys from 2001 told me that they already had holographic 3D displays and robots are everywhere in their homes.
