Select just the emoji as you would any normal text characters, then increase the font size. But would that also make the text larger too, which I don’t necessarily want?

I assume this would only be for my benefit, or would the change be visible to others?Select just the emoji as you would any normal text characters, then increase the font size.
It's visible to others, and in my earlier post with the megaphone emoji. Here's normal size vs. specified using the "Font size" option: 📢 📢 (I assume the second one is the size you want).I assume this would only be for my benefit, or would the change be visible to others?
When I first joined in 2014, this forum looked like it was straight out of 2005 on vBulletin 3. It has definitely come a long way. It's ight, I like the way the old one looks, but this website definitely needed a design refresh so it doesn't look 10 years old
Have a screenshot? Also updated that post to better clarify what I meant / fix a typoWhen I first joined in 2014, this forum looked like it was straight out of 2005 on vBulletin 3. It has definitely come a long way.
I had saved a few .webarchive files. Only rendering issue seems to be the double-arrows.Have a screenshot? Also updated that post to better clarify what I meant / fix a typo
Seems like a lot of the times those "gems" have often been some type of memes or jokes to one degree or another that really didn't say too much meaningful one way or another about the actual topic.Missing the 'most liked posts' button. This was my most used feature especially on longer threads. I'm less likely to trawl through comments now as finding the occasional gem will be that much more time-consuming...

So is this a setting, or would you have to set it each time you use an emoji? If it is a setting and it is the T in the toolbar at the top of the editing window, I might be convinced to take the extra time, because I use these a lot. It's visible to others, and in my earlier post with the megaphone emoji. Some are so small, I might take the time to enlarge them. Thanks! It's this:

That's how I did it anyway. May be multiple ways. But I still think you have to set it every time you use an emoji.
So turns out I have no clue where to find new threads anymore. Can only find new posts, not new threads
Also don't seem to be able to pick sorting options inside subforms, like "newest thread", "latest reply", "most replies", etc. Am I missing something here?
My opinion is that emojis can add substance to the post where sometimes the tone is not clearly indicated by text alone. Is there a huge demand to have these emoticons as an option? Surely a site for serious (ok, not always as serious as perhaps it should be) discussion about Apple centric issues can do without smiley faces for users to express approval for another user's comments. Just my opinion...
