Do you think Snow Leopard will have Blu Ray support?
Since Best Buy is selling their iMacs that were displays, IT'S CERTAIN! The iMacs are going to be released this TUESDAY! I guarantee this. I have seen this before. Best Buy definitely has inside information. Ok, will get my money moved over to my checkcard for purchase on Tuesday. Well, I have never seen it happen before but surely this is now FACT!
It is possible there will be no big escapade but just a small note to the press stating the entire lineup of Mac desktops have been released... oh and btw, they're shipping "today" with Snow Leopard pre-installed! And by the way, they have Blu-Ray Drives installed in all of them, even the MacMini. Oh, and there's now a headless Mac - every Mac lover out there just dreamed of the day, and now we know it's TUESDAY! And by the way, there's also a Mac Tablet, a Mac Media Server, and of course an iPhone NANO. All being released Tuesday morning! Can you imagine? Like dreaming... ok, we are dreaming, but wouldn't that be the day! And ah NetMacBook... almost forgot for those of you that want a netbook.
Can't we all dream, BIG!?
That and the January 27 release of iLife '09 could mean new iMacs on January 27!there are some product codes on the below page that look unfamiliar to us.

My bet is tomorrow for either Mac mini or iMac updates - hopefully both.
Wow, why? The Mini is getting a redesign. Apple would call the press to that.
new iMacs will be out sometime before March, or at most before June
Wu believes Apple is debating whether to use Intel's dual-core processors or newer quad-core processors in the new iMacs.
But where would they put the Apple logo on the front!?
Didn't think of that, did'ja?
If I see dual core processors one more time...Chip complex delaying Apple's new iMac line, says analyst

Apple's next-generation iMacs are being held up for business reasons and a minor technical obstacle, according to one Wall Street analyst.
"We wanted to give an update on the Mac business from what we are picking up from our latest supply chain checks," Kaufman Bros. analyst Shaw Wu wrote in a report to clients Monday. "While new the iMac appears to be almost ready for primetime, what is holding it up appears to be business reasons and a potential small technical hurdle."
Specifically, Wu said his sources indicate that external casing changes will likely be modest and that "Apple is in the midst of figuring out whether to power the new iMac with Intel quad-core processors or more high-powered dual-core processors with larger caches."

Maybe there coming tommrow and this is there little press realease
iMacs and minis are due!
I hope so, but I've learned to stay pessimistic with anything concerning release dates. My bet is tomorrow for either Mac mini or iMac updates - hopefully both.
When the rumors of the iMacs being redesigned were swirling in mid-2007, there was speculation that the iMacs would be released with Leopard, or at least have a free/upgrade coupon or something. Well, neither of those happened, and the iMacs were released 2.5 months before Leopard.i'm new to apple but it also wouldn't seem to make financial sense to time the updated imac release with snow leopard's release b/c apple would make less money that way. and from a marketing perspective, separate releases keeps them in the "news" longer and more frequently, giving the company more buzz. the two products almost certainly will be released separately.
There have been updates in late January and late February. Revised PowerBook G4s in January 2005 is one example. It's hard to believe that Apple would do a "stealth" release of new iMacs and minis now, without even dropping a hint three weeks ago when they had the attention of the entire tech press corps at Macworld. That doesn't seem like Apple's MO. If they were that close to being ready they would have dropped a teaser or two.
