Don't know about the S3, but the Google Nexus's 8MP camera has 3 more megapixels than the iPhone 4's 5MP camera but takes blatantly worse photos. But it has more megapixels! How could it be worse?! Same goes with the 1080p video versus the iPhone 4's 720p.
More megapixels doesn't mean more quality, but too few megapixels (around 2 if viewed on a typical PC monitor) could make an otherwise good shot look bad. And you can blow up higher-res photos more. That is it.
I can't believe all the negativity about the fingerprint sensor rumor. Am I the only iPhone user that's sick and tired of the tap-tap-tap-tap of typing that damn pin every time I want to use my phone?
This is going to be so cool:

Yawn... Zzzzzz. When is apple coming out with a model that has larger screen?
iPhone Mini?
Do you want a 2.5'' or 3'' display?
but if they release a 4.8'' iPhone then the 3.5'' can be considered an iPhone mini.
It doesn't matter if they did it first.
If Apple does it....mind blown.

i haven't tried 2.5'' or 3'' size....3.5'' is the perfect size in my opinion but if they release a 4.8'' iPhone then the 3.5'' can be considered an iPhone mini.
Android has evolved dramatically in the last four years.
As an OS, it's went from an iOS knock-off that only a geek would want (Cupcake/Donut/Eclair/Froyo/Gingerbread) to a screwed up tablet version (Honeycomb) to a decent iOS competitor (Ice Cream Sandwich) to a good iOS alternative (Jelly Bean).
They've been a fierce competitor releasing Google alternatives to AirPlay (Miracast), AirPrint (Google Cloud Print), iTunes Match (Play Music) and Siri (Google Now/Voice Search).
It's been a wild four years. They've kept up with Apple (and surpassed them in some ways with Google Now).
If they use the same form factor as the 5 in the 5S... man... it's the beginning of the end for Apple. It may be a few years, but the rollercoaster has hit the top of the hill.
How can they not read the writing on the wall? Mix it up. Do something! Rattle the planet with a new design.
When its time for an upgrade for my 4s I will get the normal 5 and save some money.
And android has been the same for 4 years. What's your point? You want widgets and themes? :/

What's the galaxy going to give you that you don't have now? GarageBand? iTunes U? iPhoto? iMovie? Photostream? Backup and restore? Please I want to know what the galaxy has besides a large screen with neon greens and blue whites, heavy, un-pocketable, plastic phone.
-Fast settings
-NFC
-possibility to connect an USB stick
-print on ANY printer
-change your standard browser/email App
-multitasking (I mean MULTITASKING, not that background thing on iOS)
-multiwindow
-live widgets (at least for weather, calender)
-possibility to install flash, if you still need it
-bluetooth sharing
-lockscreen information
and so on and so on.
p.s.1: for every App you mentioned above, there is an equivalent on the Play Store (except for garage band - don't know, because i only used it on the Mac for ring-tone-creation)
p.s.2: Why cant you just accept other peoples thoughts, only because for them the iPhone is not holy anymore? That guy your quoting obviously has an iPhone until now and if he is considering a change, he seems not to be satisfied with it anymore. I did this step half a year ago, and never regretted it - and as it is MACrumors and not iOSrumors i still claim the right to write here![]()
The writing on the wall? The 1 1/2 yr old 4S outsold the 9 month old Galaxy S3 last quarter. The 4 and 5 are iconic designs. There's a huge benefit to keeping the same great design for 2 years.
For one, you get a far more robust accessories ecosystem. It also helps iDevices maintain its legendary resale value. And it also gives Apple time to design the next gen phone with more meaningful changes rather than make changes for changes' sake just to make ADHD geeks happy.

I shouldn't have to. Apple should innovate and allow it natively, then they cn lie their asses off and say it's revolutionary. Duh
Am I the only one here who thinks a fingerprint sensor is actually an awesome addition to the next iPhone? Seriously, it will make unlocking your secured iPhone much faster and easier.
